TENS plate: it might be helpful for you. I'm getting one soon and will let you know how I find it. If you use one, please share how you've found it help you.
So, what is TENS therapy?
TENS Therapy
TENS stands for transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. The goal of the therapy is to treat and relieve the pain in a specific area on the body.

TENS therapy works by delivering electrical impulses to nerve pathways on the body. Since nerves are essentially the accelerator of pain in the body, but control the accelerator, TENS therapy works to control the pain and relieve much of it. If modest pain relief is your goal, then move forward with TENS therapy. Fibromyalgia researchers themselves are torn over whether or not to recommend TENS therapy as a viable treatment plan.

All in all, there have only been very few studies conducted to provide research for the overall effectiveness of TENS treatment as well. In those few studies, fibromyalgia patients did experience at least some pain relief, so maybe you will too.

I have only ever used mine during labour. I have never thought to use it actually. Suppose I should really give it a whirl. Hope it helps you

My experience has been that it does help when I have specific area pain, not when I ache all over. It doesn't completely get rid of the pain but seems to redirect it. The main area I've used it for has been the hip/low back area just below my pants waist. It's not always convenient to use when I have the pain though. I bartend and all the movement and sometimes sweating make it difficult to keep the pads in place to be most effective. I still sometimes use a pain pill while using the TENS unit.
