And this is why breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. Only thing that motivates me to get up at 6am with a wide awake baby that wants to play after only a few hours of broken sleep. Rorie is super unsettled at the moment, waking up 6 times between 10pm and 12am and then being up and down all night wide awake wanting to play. Nothing I'm doing is working, self soothing, co sleeping, feeding, cuddles, settling in the cot, giving the dummy. She might settle for 15-30 minutes but then is wide awake again crying in her cot for me, or slapping me in the face to wake me up in my bed. Struggling big time with sleep deprivation at the moment as this is not just a one night occurrence and I'm so used to a baby who sleeps well, and if she does wake up settles straight back down after a feed. Starting to feel like we're back to the newborn stage where I would get massive anxiety every evening leading to bed time because she just wouldn't sleep. Here's to hoping it doesn't last long, but in the meantime we'll just drool over my protein pancakes with yopro Greek yogurt and berries // 😴😋

    I'm not that great at protein powders, still learning about them myself. But a whey protein isolate is good and make sure you read the label and check that it doesn't have added sugars @jacintaannfreeman

    55g rice flakes, 1 egg white, 1 scoop protein powder, baking soda and cinnamon then water to get the consistency you want. I also add 2 scoops of fibre powder but you don't have to 🤗 @jacintaannfreeman @ellpellaroocha
