Father, please help me keep me focused on You and allow You to be the center of my life. Often times difficulties can keep us from trying to put You first, when that is the first thing we should do. Forgive me for the times You were not my first priority and help me to live for You. Amen
Filipe respondeu: "Vem ver!"
47 Jesus viu Natanael que vinha para ele e comentou:
"Aí vem um israelita de verdade,
um homem sem falsidade".
48 Natanael perguntou: "De onde me conheces?"
"Antes que Filipe te chamasse,
enquanto estavas debaixo da figueira,
eu te vi".
49 Natanael respondeu:
"Rabi, tu és o Filho de Deus,
tu és o Rei de Israel".
50 Jesus disse: "Tu crês porque te disse:
Eu te vi debaixo da figueira?
Coisas maiores que esta verás!"
51 E Jesus continuou: "Em verdade, em verdade, eu vos digo:
Vereis o céu aberto
e os anjos de Deus subindo e descendo
sobre o Filho do Homem".
Palavra da Salvaçào.
Glória a VÓS SENHOR.
Don't let anything or anyone stop you from being free. Whom the Son set free! Don't go back under that thing! “I could wish that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off! For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

2 Nephi 6:3 - Nevertheless, I speak unto you again; for I am desirous for the welfare of your souls. Yea, mine anxiety is great for you; and ye yourselves know that it ever has been. For I have exhorted you with all diligence; and I have taught you the words of my father; and I have spoken unto you concerning all things which are written, from the creation of the world.

"Fewer than 500,000 Christians are now left in Iraq, down from 1.5 million in 2003," writes @annalekasmiller. "Fearing religious extinction, many are advocating that the displaced return home now that ISIS has been driven out." Pickup a copy of @sojogram to read Anna's story about Iraq's dwindling Christian community and their uncertain future. A selection of my photos from the past two years runs alongside the essay. Nothing on this Earth can ever make you truly happy. Your friend, your family are all temporary and soon will be gone. The things you desire today will be gone by tomorrow. Nothing in this world truly matters, nothing! Money, wealth, material desires are all temporary. The proud and avaricious never rest, whereas those who are poor and humble of heart lives in a world of peace. It is ought to bear patiently in others whatever one cannot correct in self and in others. Consider it better thus--perhaps to try your patience and to test you, for without such patience and trial your merits are of little account. Nevertheless, under such difficulties you should pray that God will consent to help you bear them calmly.
The holy martyr, Lawrence, with his priest, conquered the world because he despised everything in it that seemed pleasing to him, and for love of Christ patiently suffered the great high priest of God, Sixtus, whom he loved dearly, to be taken from him. Thus, by his love for the Creator he overcame the love of man, and chose instead of human consolation the good pleasure of God. So you, too, must learn to part with an intimate and much-needed friend for the love of God.
