Started working in my fave scientist bilding today!! James Clerk Maxwell is one of the most important scientists of all time and he was born in Edinburgh!! For some mad reason he is not very well know to the masses Bt think about it this way every time u take a picture with colour u have him to thank for that as he was the 1st person to take a coloured picture among other break throughs that rival any of the greatest!! Wee Scots used to be at the forefront of science and technology, now seem to have forgotten that witch is such a shame as wee just don't invest in Ower own anymore!! Another sad truth I've learnt with my new job :( #scientist#jamesclerkmaxwell#scotland#greatest#pictures
Great morning my GREAT people! Rise and shine! PRAISE AND GRIND! Blessed to see another day on the greener side of the earth! Thankful for the day and the opportunities the day brings! Thank you for your continuous work on me! Lord I ask that you keep me humble, keep me grounded, and remaining in a constant state of gratitude. It ain't possible without you! #AMEN 🙏🏾
Goodbye London! You've been my home for the last 2.5 years and it's been an absolute pleasure... Saying that, I won't miss your overcrowded streets and having to walk single-file like penguins to get from A to B or your peak hour tube rides pressed up against large sweaty gentlemen or the bipolar weather that doesn't know which season it's meant to be in.
I won't miss spending half my salary on the extortionate costs of rent and then spending the other half on the TFL just to get around.
I won't miss missing the last tube ride home after a night out and having to take 3 nightbuses over 2 hours instead.
I won't miss getting those night buses and all the lovely "individuals" one encounters on these moving insane asylums.
I won't miss the amazing hospitality and services industry here in London or the high cost of living (air is still free though). I won't miss your poor coffees or the baristas who serve it with a smile.
I won't miss your lines, queues and waiting rooms.
I won't miss the 5 hours it takes to get to the airports or being "actively frisked" just because I left a stick of gum in my pockets.
I won't miss talking about brexit.
I won't miss being surprised by blue skies.
I won't miss the cancellations, delays and construction on all your modes of transports all the time. ... But.... with all this said, London you are the most incredible and captivating city, full of the best and brightest from all over, alot of whom I've been lucky enough to meet and now call my friends. This city, for the last 2.5 years has been the experience I've always wanted living away from Australia. London you are my home and I will return to you again, when that is I do not know. The friends I have made living here and the experiences we've shared are THE biggest part of why it is so hard to leave all this behind.
The friends and family back in Australia are the reasons that make it easier too leave. Australia I'm coming home! 🇬🇧 🔜🇦🇺
See you after some more travels 🌏
