Today’s workout tunes, a podcast about being grateful. Great listen. I think so many of us spend far too much time taking things for granted, judging others, being envious of what others have etc. Take a moment to be grateful and remember you don’t know others lives and what you see on social media isn’t always reality. There are many health benefits to being grateful. One of the small things I’m grateful for is being able to enjoy a cup of green tea looking out of my apartment window onto the UWS and getting lost in my thoughts of life’s possibilities....🍵 #grateful#workhard#dontbejealous#life#freakonomics#npr#gymtunes#wnyc#hatersgonnahate
I promote and sell health and wellness products. Yes, I do 🙋🏻♀️. That is one of my many jobs 🙃😁💪🏼. But I am aware that God is the only one that can bring the end to all kind of suffering and diseases 📖. Nevertheless, I don’t see anything wrong in trying to find some sort of temporary relief to a physical condition or to improve the way we look if there is something that in fact could help. We do go to a doctor when we’re feeling sick, don’t we? And we do take medication, or even go through surgery if needed, right? Girls wear makeup, fake nails, false lashes, and hair extensions. All to look younger, feel better, or expand our years of life. That is completely right, because God has put the eternity in our hearts and so the desire to be young and live forever is something we carry within us ❤️. I don’t sell miracle pills, although some of my products (like the one I’m holding in this picture) have worked wonders for me and for others. I try to give as much info as I can about the products I offer to everyone who wants to learn more. The decision to try something or not is totally up to you. If my posts bother you, simply unfollow me please, I beg you 🙏🏼 because I will continue to post. There is no need for nasty messages. To all my customers and everyone else who gives me their likes, thank you so much for helping me to support my family 👧🏻👧🏻. My heart is filled with gratitude for you 😘😘❤️ #surieng#suriskincaresecrets#behealthywithsuri#hatersgonnahate#imstillposting

This morning during our workout Autumn said something that really resonated with me.... Stand TALL in what you are doing. Be UNAPOLOGETICALLY OBSESSED with your goals. You are going to get questioned about it. People are going to be like WHY are you eating that way? Why do you HAVE to work our right now? You don’t owe anybody an explanation. This is for you!
Let me repeat that...
You don’t owe ANYBODY an explanation! THIS. IS. FOR. YOU!
This is about you and YOUR goals, not anyone else’s!
Perhaps your family doesn’t support you or your significant other and friends are making fun of you for being obsessed with your health....it’s time to STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!
Others WILL judge you for going after your goals and putting your health first! It’s inevitable! Watching YOU triggers something in them that makes them feel uncomfortable about their lack of action! And it’s easier to make fun of you then address the real situation going on with them!
That’s OK...let it go!
Don’t let anyone else determine how you live and how you treat yourself!
This is YOUR LIFE and you should feel PROUD of being obsessed with living your best version of it!
Day 4/80: AAA and by the end I could barely hold myself up! My arms and upper body are beat 😆
Angela Okorie Blast Haters of Her New Bald Look
Social media is now full of peeps who can't seem to mind their business and tend to believe that their opinion can change people. The comments have been hateful and bashful and Popular actress, Angela Okorie has had enough. She called out her haters on her gram, challenging them to go bald if they believe they can kill the look just like her. See her rant below...
I don't know how to judge people cos am not perfect.
Why so much Hate.
Why feeling so inferior of your self
Cos it's only people that feel less of them selves that goes about trying to bring any1 down.
By Now y'all haters and confused admirers should know your opinion doesn't count.
I choose to do what suits me
Your opinion is void
If you think I don't look good on bald hair, I challenge u to go on bald hair and see what you will look like.
Wether u like the look or not your opinion is useless to me, learn on how to mind ur business or better still engage your self with something that will benefit you.
I repeat go on bald hair!!!!!!!!!! Thank you #ispreadpositivevibesonly #
A good friend of my mom’s shared this picture yesterday of me on Facebook saying how proud she was of me. Two woman in their 70s responded that I looked “gross.” People are quick to judge and don’t understand the world of competing. A lot of people assume we starve ourselves to get this lean when it’s the exact opposite. I was going to engage with her but decided against wasting my time communicating with a bully. Instead I’ll channel that energy to my workouts and allow it to empower me to be even stronger. I work out for myself and not anybody else and that’s why comments like this mean nothing.
It is disappointing that as women we are quick to criticize and put other women down. We should unite and empower each other. Instead of judging, ask someone why they choose to do the things they do. You don’t know the road they traveled to get to where they are today.
There are a lot of haters in this world. Don’t let their negative opinions of others or yourself get you down. Those that are quick to judge usually are the same ones who internalize a lot of jealousy and self hate. If we focused on the beauty each and every one of us embodies, this world would be a much better place.
