A nice warming jambalaya on this frosty day! So easy to make, just chuck all in one pot and wait for the rice to cook! I always have a bag of spinach on hand for when my meals aren’t green enough and it takes no time to steam it! 😆
Happy #instaversary to me! Although I should have posted this some days ago, I couldn't bother. Now's a good time for me to look back at my story.
My first ever post... a green frosted #motherboard#cake from the #nerdynummies cookbook made for a friend. I've got half a mind to attempt this one again.
Second, my own birthday #cake . I decided to try my hand at the very impressive mistique cake by @christytania, back when it was on #masterchefau . Looking back to more recent memories, interacting with this year's cast (@tamaragraffen, @ben_ungermann, and @michellelukmanau especially) gave me the inspiration I needed to bake those other dishes I posted... like @ottolenghi's #venison with labneh and port sauce, @marcopierrewhit's #oyster tagliatelle (also my first #homemade#pasta ), or my own lunch creation of tilapia with cucumber, mandarin, and hollandaise sauce.
I also remember the #Lordoftherings cake I made for @amyy_sw. I'm so proud of the details from the piped chocolate letters.
Then came my obsession with #asian food... I still remember #Thai week well, and can't wait to do it again. Lastly, #pizza , #jambalaya , and a picture from the #holidays on #Malta !
