🎯The truth is, ALL diets work by creating a caloric deficit. That's the primary mechanism. Those that restrict foods can be especially effective (in the beginning, anyhow) because cutting out entire food groups are an easy way to slash calories.
📈On the flipside, you can very well GAIN weight on any diet if you over-consume calories, regardless of what foods you are consuming. At the end of the day, it comes down to whatever approach YOU can adhere to over the long haul.
📩The takeaway from this message? Rather than jumping from.one fad diet to another hoping that it will finally be the program that melts your fat away, find a way that suits YOUR personal preferences the most.

Little progress update, slowly but surely getting there. ✌🏼
I must admit I'm feeling drained already and the worst has yet to come. Sure abs/sub 10% body fat may actually be achievable all year round for some and most who say it isn't just use it as an excuse for their lack of adherence and self discipline I have yet to find a balance between being very lean and being full of energy. A sedentary lifestyle with set work hours would certainly make things easier but for now it's about adapting and mind over matter. 🙇🏼

About 2 years ago I bought these pants that were too small for me. I put then away in my drawer. I would try them on and put them back. But not today! Today I put them on and they fit!!!! To say I am excited is an under statement. 😁😁😁
