When you feel that life is hard and unbearable, just remember... there's someone out there who wishes to live a life like yours. There's always someone in a much worse position than you. Be grateful.

Foodie with a Booty (2)🍑🍔
I literally can’t get over how slim my face looks, been noticing my dimple appearing. 😂 47 days of tracking my food, and today I broke it by being more free. ✌🏻 I had junk food all day, but one off day wont wreck my diet. Restart and carry on. 💪🏻 I’ve stopped believing in “cheat days” or “refeed days”, if I crave something I’ll eat it and make sure it fits in my daily macros. So today, I felt like relaxing from tracking, and so guess what?... I stopped. I didn’t track any food consumed today. Sometimes you just have to listen to the body, thats always the case for the best results.✌🏻 If your body craves something, treat the cravings just ensure that you stick to your macros. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve been eating rice on the daily, chocolates and crisps and every single morning @grenadeofficial spread with my oats. Your girls still lost 8.4lbs. 😏😱
I drink about three is these a day.
8 scoops egg whites.
2 scoops real food
1 1/2 cups kale
1 cup spinach
1 tbl spoon apple cider vinegar
2 tbl fiber power
2 scoops hemp seed/chia seeds
And a veggie powder mix lol
THE MEET: SUCCESS!!
Couldn’t be happier with how it went, 625kg TOTAL, 205/160/260, technically no missed lifts, got 160kg bench (record in my division and what I went for!), met a ton of great new people and had many great friends came to support me
While I took it seriously, I was super relaxed the whole time and I’d be chatting to everyone there rather than the actual lifting! Awesome day!
Smoked my benches and deadlifts, no issues there. Squats, on second attemp, I got red lighted for only having 3 fingers on the bar, rather than my whole hand so I thought I’d play it safe and only go for 205 for 3rd attempt!
Greatest part about today was the atmosphere and everyone around, both new people I got to meet and friends who came to support!
@natalia_dzi, my star throughout the whole of prep, my good friend @ryanmackinsbodybuilding who was a huge help helping me call attempts. @legz_routledge who I honestly wouldn’t have done so well without, psyching me up, advising me on the attempts and warm ups along with Ryan. Also great to have old friends Chris and @my.time.will.come who have known me since I started training. Having been to Marios powerlifting meets before, it was great to have him there for supper and advise too
Best thing about powerlifting is that other lifters like to see you succeed, guys like @bpcprime, @lee.northwelding and @simonsimpson551 with who we just had fun and wanted to see eachother get the lifts
Great day, great result, got 3rd overall out of 30+ lifters and saw some huge lifts. Guy that got first won 1st was miles ahead of everyone else, something like 200+ higher than my total. Overall for a first meet, I absolutely smashed it
Stole this from @cody__klein because I actually just made a pretty small change that will have a pretty substantial impact on progress. I bought a scale. Now, for most folks, I say to hell with the scale. People tend to get so wrapped up in what the scale says that they forget that when building muscle, your weight can actually go up as your body fat drops. Ive typically just used gym scales to keep track of my weight, but this scale also has a composition scanner (which arent 100% accurate, but can provide an easy way to track composition) the downfall to using gym scales, is I wasnt weighing myself at the optimal time, first thing in the morning.
Anyway, here are the rules for making the most out of having a scale at home:
1. Weigh yourself only once per week. Anymore and it can become an obsession snd lead to you making unnecessary changes
2. Weight yourself at the same time of day with the same amount of meals. Easiest way to do this, first thing after waking up and using the restroom.
3. If you catch yourself obsessing about what the scale says, Throw. That. Bitch. Out. @1stPhorm #1stPhorm#iAm1stPhorm#NeverSettle#Legion0fBoom#Phamily#bodybuilding#powerlifting#keto#refeed#flexibledieting#avatarnutrition#strictnotrestricted#iifym#makeamericascienceagain
Met @_jrpineda at my local gym and in less than an hour he changed my gym game. Bench feels more tight and controlled with the adjustments, just need to keep practicing. Thanks so much, John. You're the nicest dude ever. 🙏
✖️1) 75x5 poverty bench (felt smooth with the new adjustments) ✖️2&3) 210x3 squat (focused on keeping back tight and knees out... working on it) ✖️#powerlifting#powerpuffgirls#girlswholift#gym#gymlife#povertybench#squats
A little gymnasty complex for the crew earlier this week. 🤸🏼♀️
Max Effort Unbroken
3 Toes To Bar
2 Chest to Bar Pull Up
1 Bar Muscle Up
Being able to cycle various bar movements requires coordination and rhythm. 💃🏼
@jolienvgolde opting for Kipping Chest to Bar Pull Ups rather than butterflies to ensure she maintains the integrity of the complex. 💪🏼
Tried out my new chucks for deadlifts today.....also ended up tempo squatting in them and for the first time, I was able to keep my heels down!!! I started CrossFit in June....using a heel lift and then progressed to weightlifting shoes and today....flats.
I am pretty stoked.
After breaking my left leg, I wasn't sure I would ever have that kind of mobility again. Woot woot!! #Powerlifting#Newbie#Deadlift#Squat#Bench
The sexier part of today's work out was some work at 100 kg (220 lbs) snatches. Followed by pull ups, ghd sit ups, back extensions, and 500 meter rowing intervals.
Team pics of the meet. Doug Smithey, coach spotter. @rochellelady68 148 lbs Masters 1st place with team mates Cory Sidden and Haley. Last pic is @rochellelady68 with Dave Mazzuco our gym owner and competitor in IBP. Met a great bunch of people, worked with them loading plates for squats and bench, then got to watch @rochellelady68 compete in deads. Its official, she is addicted to competition. Next one is in Charlotte, NC.
