💥HOW TO GET STRONGER💥

🦄I usually keep my Inner Circle videos & articles private, just for the IC, but I spoke about this with my Inner Circle earlier today and several members told me they thought I should share it publicly because they know many people who struggle with it, so I‘m going to lay it out here for you as well.

☕️It's very easy to get caught up in the mindset of expecting see your strength go up every time you go to the gym.
-
🦄Because, when you first start out, your strength *will* go up nearly every time you go to the gym.
-
🦄But as you get stronger, the harder it becomes to get stronger.
-
☕️That's why I've said for years, "the stronger you get, the harder it gets.”
-
🦄In the same way you can't expect to lose weight every time you step on the scale, you can't expect to gain strength every time you go to the gym.
-
☕️And in the same way losing scale weight isn't the only way to know you're losing fat (measurements go down, bf goes down, clothes fit better, you feel better, look better in the mirror, etc)...adding weight to the bar isn't the only way to know you're getting stronger (use better form with the same weight, do more reps with the same weight, feel stronger with the same weight, get less fatigued, etc).

🦄All of that aside, I want you to remember one very important point.

☕️You probably got "hooked" on lifting because you loved it. You loved how it made you feel. You loved how empowering it was. You loved the process of getting stronger.

🦄Now, if you find yourself getting stressed out or worried or concerned or angry or demotivated because you aren't getting as strong as you'd like as quickly as you'd like....take a step back and re-evaluate.

☕️Breathe. Smile. Relax.

While I was deadlifting earlier there were 3 dudes sharing a squat rack next to me. I went to move my bar out of the way to give them more room but then I was like ‘wtf. No. You are allowed to take up space’ and it occurred to me that moving aside to make room for others when you actually need the space yourself is something only a woman would do. I need to work on my own self. .

Weightlifting Lin goes Powerlifting: Nach einer langen Wettkampfsaison im Gewichtheben entschloss ich mich dazu, meinem längeren Wunsch nachzugehen und endlich bei einer Staatsmeisterschaft im Kraftdreikampf Classic (Raw Powerlifting) mitzumachen. Somit ging ich am Samstag im "Das Gym" (@intelligentstrength , Wien) an den Start und erreichte als jüngste Athletin in der Klasse - 72 kg mit 327,5 kg im Total (Kniebeuge 120 kg, Bankdrücken 65 kg, Kreuzheben 142,5 kg) den 3. Platz + Bronze Damenmannschaft (Fotos und Videos hab ich derweil leider keine). Obwohl es der wohl spektakulärste Wettkampf war an dem ich je teilnehmen durfte, lief es alles andere als ideal für mich (4/9 Versuchen) und blieb weit unter meinen Bestleistungen, geschweige denn meinen Erwartungen. Ich bin zwar von mir selbst sehr enttäuscht, dass ich mich vor dem unglaublichen Publikum und bei der hammer Atmosphäre nicht von meiner besten Seite zeigen konnte, freue mich jedoch, dass ich das Kaderlimit für den Junioren-A-Kader geschafft hab, was mich zu internationalen Wettkämpfen berechtigt. Mal sehen was daraus wird und wie sich allgemein das Wettkampfjahr 2018 und meine Vorbereitung gestaltet. Doch jeder der mich kennt weiß, sobald ich mal ein Ziel definiert habe, ich auch alles dafür gebe werde um es zu erreichen! Herzlichen Dank an Christian Wackernell alias Benchpress Monster Wacki, der mich so kurzfristig auf meinen plötzlichen Wunsch auf Vordermann für KDK Wettkämpfe machte und den AK Bodyform Salzburg für die herzliche Aufnahme in einen Verein mit weltklasse Athleten und einer dementsprechenden Attitude. Es war mir eine Ehre bei diesem Event der Extraklasse heben zu dürfen und gratuliere allen Athletinnen und Athleten zu den neuen persönlichen und österreichischen Rekorden, sowie erbrachten Leistungen und Platzierungen. Es war schön zu sehen, dass der Kraftsport immer mehr Menschen "infiziert" und welche Leidenschaft dahinter steckt 💪

If you were serious with yourself, could you perform a perfect deep bodyweight squat without any shoes on? If so, how long could you comfortably sit in the bottom of a deep ass-to-grass bodyweight squat? 🤔

The squat is a movement ever before it's an exercise. So while you may not barbell squat everyday - you should still be expressing the movement of the squat. If you look at different cultures around the world, you'll see that it's NORMAL for many to sit in this deep squat position often throughout their day!🙌🏼

The ability to sit in a perfect deep bodyweight squat requires you to show adequate ankle & hip mobility, sufficient pelvic/core control as well as good balance. This is a movement EVERYONE should be capable of performing - no matter your age, shape or size.👪

It doesn't matter how flexible you are, if you never express full functional mobility throughout your day your never use your body as it was designed. It's not enough to move through full ranges for 1-2 hours a day at your workout and then sit the rest for your day. When you naturally can plop down into this deep squat position throughout your day, I promise you your body will start to thank you for it. You'll notice things like less back pain, less aching joints or less need to spend countless minutes on the foam roller during your warm up! You'll notice improvements also in your barbell lifts - as movements like catching the snatch or hitting depth in your squat are now much easier! ✅✅

How to start: try making small changes. Try to sit in a deep squat for 30 seconds 10 times throughout your day. As you feel more comfortable, start going longer with less reps. Eventually you should be able to sit comfortably for 2 minutes! If you're unable to sit that deep at first, use your hands to hold onto something heavy (a backpack, weight, or wall) to counterbalance and allow you to feel the stretch.

#Repost  @squat_university ・・・ If you were serious with yourself, could you perform a perfect deep bodyweight squat without any shoes on? If so, how long could you comfortably sit in the bottom of a deep ass-to-grass bodyweight squat? 🤔 . The squat is a movement ever before it's an exercise. So while you may not barbell squat everyday - you should still be expressing the movement of the squat. If you look at different cultures around the world, you'll see that it's NORMAL for many to sit in this deep squat position often throughout their day!🙌🏼 . The ability to sit in a perfect deep bodyweight squat requires you to show adequate ankle & hip mobility, sufficient pelvic/core control as well as good balance. This is a movement EVERYONE should be capable of performing - no matter your age, shape or size.👪 . It doesn't matter how flexible you are, if you never express full functional mobility throughout your day your never use your body as it was designed. It's not enough to move through full ranges for 1-2 hours a day at your workout and then sit the rest for your day. When you naturally can plop down into this deep squat position throughout your day, I promise you your body will start to thank you for it. You'll notice things like less back pain, less aching joints or less need to spend countless minutes on the foam roller during your warm up! You'll notice improvements also in your barbell lifts - as movements like catching the snatch or hitting depth in your squat are now much easier! ✅✅ . How to start: try making small changes. Try to sit in a deep squat for 30 seconds 10 times throughout your day. As you feel more comfortable, start going longer with less reps. Eventually you should be able to sit comfortably for 2 minutes! Monday is Squat day or squat day 1. It went as follows.

Cambered bar squats 85%x5x3 
1x Back off set with chains this went terribly 😂 so after this I did 2 sets of 10 with a 1 second pause on a box at what seemed to be my sticking point. 
Belt-less Deficit deadlift at 55%x10x3 this was to easy so just did 160kg for all sets instead. 
Barbell Glute bridge 3x10 nothing amazing. 
Belt squat step ups 4x20 each leg hard AF........legs destroyed after this. 
DB rows 3x8 50kg 
Planks 3 sets to failure.

Немного отошли от поездки, но эмоции до сих пор переполняют и требуют выхода📝
🎯Во-первых, это безумное чувство, когда любимый муж достигает цели, борясь на равных с самыми крутыми, опытными и сильнейшими, становится топовым спортсменом не просто Пермского края, а страны! Теперь только вперед💪
🔥Во-вторых, гордость распирает за то, что мы работаем в лучшей федерации независимого пауэрлифтинга страны, и это бесспорно. Уровень проводимых стартов это подтверждает  на все 💯. В этом году всё было безупречно, начиная от оснащения, оборудования, инфраструктуры, высокой конкуренции на помосте, заканчивая выдержанным до минуты регламентом и строгим, но справедливым судейством. Всё сделано для спортсменов! И всё под личным контролем не только СПР, но и президента IPL (США) и главного судьи лично! 
Ребята, вот на такие соревнования надо выезжать, вот здесь кайф от выступления, настоящая борьба с атлетами со всего мира и мотивация!
☝Для нас, как для организаторов, это возможность учиться у лучших, и, безусловно, наши старты раз от раза будут всё круче, по-другому  в СПР никак😊

It's simple - lifting big weights is all about efficiency. Those who are able to lift tremendous weight (and continue do so for a long time without huge injuries in their lifetimes) make every lift look the exact same. 👍🏼

Quality over quantity. If you keep this mindset good things will happen! ✅ If you don't have this capability yet, stop pushing heaver and heavier weight until you can improve your movement quality. If not, two things will happen. 1st, you will increase your risk for injury by moving big weight with less than stellar technique. 2nd, you will reinforce poor movement and limit your long term potential to lift even more weight! 👎🏼

Пошла вторая неделя . Из за постоянного стресса появились проблемы с аппетитом и сном👎🏻.Но , отступать некуда ,надо держаться 👊🏻. Сегодня была тренировка груди и в концовке трицепс . В перерывах между подходами - как обычно пресс . Желаю всем хорошего начала недели ✌🏻 а себе желаю сна и аппетита 🙏🏻 Всем кач! 💪🏻💁🏼‍♂️
