Just thinking back on the past 5 birthdays, that I’ve had the pleasure of spending with my sweet husband. Each year you reach a new growth as a man, father, and husband, it has been a huge blessing to watch it all come alive! I can’t imagine what you will do in the next 10 years. I can’t think of one person that would ever question the integrity of my Matthew. In every situation he strives to be a good person before anything else. God is going to use him for great things! ❤️ #heisgood#birthdaydinner#harpoonharrys#littleannie#ferriswheel#sospecial#kingforaday
We don't usually post photos of our funeral work out of respect for the families, but with their permission, we wanted to share this with you all as the story behind this piece was so touching and we were completely humbled to be trusted with the honour of creating this one last tribute... (This is going to be a lengthy post)
Celia was a lady who adored her flowers, in particular, her own garden.
When Louise and John approached us to make their mother's casket, it was clear that they wanted her memorial to be a celebration of all she loved in life, in fact, the main description of this brief was "mum went to Kevin O'Neill's funeral just to see the flowers!" They wanted the sentimentality and hard work of her own love of the garden to feature in this piece.
With snips in hand, we were let loose in her garden and what we found was clearly a result of years of care and admiration.. she really did love her garden! The biggest Dogwood tree I've ever seen, the most perfect Azaleas and the best Garden Roses that would put all others to shame!
We picked as much as we could and with some extra help from our wonderful suppliers, styled the biggest casket arrangement ever seen... It was almost 2m long, 80cm high and weighed so much that it took two of us to simply move it.
We were so honoured to be given this task and we certainly hope we did you all proud.
This is what our job is all about, being their to create and enhance the memories during life's treasured moments. We wouldn't ever dream of doing anything else... ever...
