I've thought about moving more towards posting only band/music related photos on here. Ultimately, I decided it's too limiting to me. As much as I love shooting music, I also enjoy taking photos of my dog, cat, abandoned places, nature, loved ones, and, yes, even myself. I know people often follow accounts looking for/expecting one type of photography. Luckily, I'm nobody important and photography isn't my full time job, so it doesn't really affect me that much. I'd rather show all aspects of my life, unfollows be damned. Anyway, sorry for the unsolicited rant on my eclecticism. Those of you who do keep a particular theme to your publicly shared work, do you ever feel pigeonholed or limited by it? Or do you find it pushes you to become more creative in that specific genre? These questions could apply to any kind of art that one becomes "known for" or associated with.
