top 5 dream rap collaborations ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 1: Kanye West + Kevin Abstract ~
I think this would be great because it would unite the incredible diversity and creativity of both artists put into one song. I feel like the song would be something that could fit in to MBDTF or TLOP, but there’s no denying a collaboration between these two artists would be magnificent. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 2: André 3000 + Kendrick Lamar ~
Pretty much everyone wants this to happen. I think the flows, lyrics, and pretty much everything both would showcase on a song together would make for an amazing track and go down as a classic. I think if Madlib produced it would be even better, but maybe that’s a little too much to ask 😂 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 3: The Game + YG ~
Similar to the next one, it would be great to see two very similar artists from different generations trade bars. It happened once on “Up Off The Wall” off Game’s Documentary 2.5, and the song also featured Ty Dolla $ign and Problem. I think they would make a great and very enjoyable track together. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 4: JAY-Z + Joey Bada$$ ~
Similar to The Game + YG, this collaboration would be fantastic to witness because this is two fantastic rappers, again from different eras, trading bars. For this one, I think it would be great if the beat sampled a classic New York rap song (Who Shot Ya, Shook Ones, Dead Presidents II) and had Jay and Joey spitting straight bars, no hook. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• 5: Lil Wayne + Young Thug ~
I think this would just work. Over a beat produced by someone like Metro Boomin, it would be great to see Weezy and Thugger go back and forth. I feel like both are extremely under-appreciated at times, and it would be a great opportunity for both to showcase their talents, despite them doing it multiple times before. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #denzelcurry#kanyewest#kendricklamar#lilwayne#asaprocky#childishgambino#chancetherapper#jcole#tylerthecreator#liluzivert#xxxtentacion#macmiller#joeybadass#jayz
‘watching movies with the sound off’ by mac miller is one of the most under appreciated rap albums of the decade and one of my favourite albums of all time. Conceptually, it is somewhat influenced by the after effects of the abuse of drugs, whilst not failing to implement at times vague, but an interesting and intelligent use of storytelling. As well as sonically being mac’s most interesting release to date, it is remarkably consistent if we take the 19 track runtime into consideration, as there’s not that much filler on the track list at all. Another few things that are worth mentioning are that this album probably has the most overlooked rap intro of the decade entitled ‘the star room’ and the production throughout all 19 tracks is nothing short of amazing. It is a fantastic combination of “trippy” instrumentals and many other types whether it’s grand beats, menacing beats, etc. This album is a must listen for rap fans but most importantly, stop sleeping on mac miller.
Had so much fun at Tyler, The Creator’s concert last night! I’ve been listening to him obsessively for several years now & seeing him live for the first time was worth being stepped on, pushed to the ground in a crowd full of people (I️m little guys), and waking up with bruises on my body. I LOVE YOU TYLER ❤️btw my favorite Tyler album would have to be Goblin. Lmk who’s a Tyler fan too!! #flowerboy#tylerthecreator 🌻🐝
