👉 5X = 4 ALTERNATING LEG REVERSE LUNGE W/FRONT RAISE, 4 REVERSE LUNGE W/SHOULDER PRESS, 4 REVERSE LUNGE W/BICEP CURL....... #
Rest 30s ....
👉 5X = 4 SUMO TOE GRAB SQUAT / 4 JUMP SQUATS. ...... ....... .. #........ .. . 
Rest 30s .... .... ....... ....... .. .. ... .. ... .
👉 2 X 10 BODYWEIGHT TRICEP EXTENSION ..

Rest and modify as needed.  Do the first set while continually doing the alternating reverse lunge.  One round is when you finish the lunge w/bicep curl.  Same idea when you go into the Squat set; one round is after you finish the jump squat. All the best to you!

As promised, here’s a Wednesday workout that doesn’t require equipment. We’ll call it the “Lionel Hampton”

After a warm up—

Run four sets of :30 sprints followed by :30 of rest using the song Tempo and Swing. Then complete four sets of 5 push-ups, 10 crunches and 15 air squats! 
If you’re more experienced with running sprints, then try running to THIS version of Bugle Call Rag by Benny Goodman. Run the same four sets of sprints but for 1:00 each, followed by 1:30 seconds of rest. Then complete the same sequence of four sets of 5 push-ups, 10 crunches and 15 air squats!

Did a 400 rep full leg workout without even noticing tonight. Deets below (weights i used are in the parentheses)⇣

➊ Quad extensions
- warm up w/ 2 sets x 10 reps (30#)
- single leg extensions 5 sets x 15 reps each leg (15#)
➋ Seated hamstring curls
- single leg curls increasing weight at each set 5 sets x 10 reps each leg at each weight jump (from 10# to 30#)
- burnout single leg set at the next weight jump for 5 reps (35#), then ‘til failure double leg curls for 15 reps (50#)
➌ Cybex seated leg press- the weight being pushed moved vs the seat, which I actually liked better. It’s the same movement as push downs on an assisted pull-up machine.
- warm up set of 20 reps each leg (60#), finish off extended leg movements with heel drives
- 4 sets x 20 reps with heel drives (100#)
***Heel driving is what activates the glutes & is the reason for bikini girls doing pushdowns on the assisted pull-up machine. If you’re doing push downs, you want to make sure you are only using the bars as balance checks vs assistance in pushing the weight down. You’ll need to lead with & drive your heel down to feel activation in your glutes. Fun fact, I’ve used this movement along with others for years to grow my glutes from pancake status🥞 to peach status🍑
➍ Kneeling squats on smith machine
- warm up w/ 10 reps (20# on bar)
- 4 sets x 10, 15, 20, 25 reps (40# on bar)
➎ Stiff leg dumbbell deads
- warm up w/ 20 reps (15#)

Tonight, I didn’t go into the back corner of the gym or into the empty room to take this picture.  Instead, I proudly stood on the Elliptical I had just finished using and held my phone up to snap a picture to document my happiness at getting in a great workout after a long workday. 😅💦 No makeup, no filters, no specific angles (except to cut out the people behind me for their privacy), just me, my sweat, and my joy.

Whip it real good! If you thought planking while lifting one arm off the ground for a few seconds was hard, try it while using a battle rope. Another full body exercise that will definitely challenge you! This exercise can be regressed by simply not using the rope and just lifting one arm up at a time. This will help you stabilize your hips and core to avoid tilting. Then it can be progressed by going into a forearm plank while using the rope. There’s an option for all, whether novice or expert, to do this exercise.

Today’s partnered routine was Kettle bell swings/goblet squat so in detail... one person starting from 10 kettlebell swings will keep their partner in a goblet squat (Holding a Kettle Bell) until they are done with their 10 swings then they switch off and the person squatting will swing and the person who was swinging will now squat then switch. So count down from 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 I ain’t even gonna lie at 7 I was dying at 4 I couldn’t even hold my squat. But we finished and even though it took us some time? Mein Mittwoch-Workout 💪🏻 Die Vorsätze 2018 halten noch gut an, da das Gym vor lauter Neuen, die ihr Probetraining bzw ihre Pläne bekommen überquillt. Da ich aber sowieso mit Tunnelblick im Gym unterwegs bin, stört es mich nicht; Training ist wichtig und macht Spaß und es freut mich, dass immer mehr Leute das so empfinden 😊 An den Parkplätzen merkt mans aber ein Spaziergang schadet auch nicht 😉

Late workout tonight met my baby for dinner after work and we just sat laughed and talked for a little over 2 hours, there were times my cheeks were hurting from smiling. Due to traffic I got home a little before 10 but I decided I wanted to get this day 3 in the books and stay committed. Most days, that’s all it really takes for me, but some are harder than others! Set realistic goals, and realistic deadlines!
