4️⃣ week update: Kinda half ass post today guys. Don't have a solid reason for why I didn't just post this on Monday lol 😅
💁🏻♂️ Anyways, I really just wanted to share with you what I've been waiting a month to share which is the first picture! I am not exaggerating when I say we ALL have fluctuating daily weight. Many people can get seriously discouraged when they see their weight climb up day to day; They shouldn't. Some people even freak out and do extra cardio, restrict calories or both to "fix" it; They shouldn't. This is why I am recording my daily morning weigh ins on my IG to show that I'm all over the place even with my decently on point macro tracking.
_ ☝🏼Do you HAVE to track weight? No. Does it help? Absolutely. Is it the only and most accurate method of tracking progress? No. Some people are at a bodyweight where no considerable amount of weight will be gained or lost in order for progress to be made.
🦄 An example I can give is a few female clients who REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see the scale number go down because that's what we've all been conditioned to observe as progress. These clients have bodies that could be viewed as "healthy". What I have to teach them is that their are other forms of measurement and what they may not realize is their best form is visual, not scale. Or a combination of visual and BF% or combo of visual, BF % and body measurements. One client I've had lost ~2lbs in ~6-7 months but lost about ~5 pant sizes 😳 She trusted me and the process and her patience paid off. Another client hasn't changed weight AT ALL in a year but has dropped ~5%BF 💪🏼and drinks beer often🍺🤓
🙃 I'm ranting. Sorry. If you swipe left you'll see my weekly weight averages hardly budged 2 weeks ago but last week went down .5lbs. Not bad. According to my scale I'm not really moving Bf% wise either. But, where I can see major changes is my photos! I have some new lines coming in and I'm stoked. 6ish total lbs down so far 🤙🏼 12.5 weeks to go.
❄️ Just want to mention, and you'll hear this a lot from me in a couple weeks.... but I'm getting a lot colder, a lot easier. My insulation is going away ☃️😬
