“I don’t think Nnamdi Kanu is doing bad for himself, because when one look at it, how can some Northern youths say they don’t want [Igbos] from their states?” Francis Odega (Mr. Gerara Here) questioned the press in an interview, referring to the North ordering Igbos out of their region, adding that the October 1 ultimatum was a warning that the Southeast people should be on their own.
He continued, “That means we are not welcomed. If one say ‘leave the North, quit the North’ that means such persons don’t want us and the only thing for us to do is to have our own. If someone ask me not to come to his house again, what do I do? I look for my own house. I don’t have a reason to pretend about this.”
The actor concluded, “If Biafra want to come let it come.” ✊
Marvel comics are set to publish their first comic with a Nigerian superhero. "Blessing In Disguise" is set in Lagos and was been written by Nnedi Okorafor, a science fiction writer. She explains the concept behind the main character she's created - Ngozi. In an interview with the BBC this week, speaking about how much influence she had on the visuals of the comic, Nnedi explains how she wanted the main character in her book to have the physical resemblance to one of the Chibok girls that where kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram in 2014. In the story, Ngozi the protagonist, develops special powers from a grasshopper. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. This was inspired by God to give light to drummers around the world by @d4c_zionboi kindly help shine this light by getting a copy or two for yourself and someone. Oh boy am I grateful for this.
I was going through my articles and found this photo, which was taken the morning just before we went to climb Kilimanjaro. Which reminded me that I climbed Kilimanjaro. One of the biggest things that I've done in life, somehow doesn't get enough credit. So as I remember this, and how it changed me, do yourself a favour and pause for a moment and think of something small or big, that you've achieved, but somehow doesn't get enough credit.
Trust me on this.
