Casa Vicens located in the neighbourhood of Gràcia was the first house designed by Gaudí (1883-1888). He broke away from tradition and created his new language of architecture, and Casa Vicens represents a new chapter in the history of Catalan architecture as well as the beginning of a successful career for Gaudí.

The clients sought to explore the real essence of holiday living: small, simple and functional. At just 40 square metres it accommodates a family of five. It is designed to close up against the elements when not in use. It is the work of Crosson Architects @crossonarchitects.⠀
