From Tues 21st: The artist wanted #foreshortening . Okay! It seems there are two types of life drawers - those who dread foreshortening and those who love it. Artist, Kiat Sng, clearly is in the latter camp. He also loves his #lamy fountain pen! 3x#15minpose drawings enhanced by the #hefe filter 🙂
Nearly finished the last bee eater. I'm glad I didn't have to do the feet on most of these, and even when I did that they were so small. The feet of perching birds aren't my most favourite thing to do 🙂
Finally got these Wistful landscapes up on my wall. I’m so glad I had them framed. It suits them down to the ground. #trechic
Inspired by the landscape of rural NSW and painted on my recent trip to the Uk. Go figure. .

When you promise the next sunshine day will be ‘help mama with her work’ day - and baby sis went down perfectly for it too. 💖💖💖
We like to say ‘when everything is perfect/falls into place’ THEN we will do the thing... but honestly, like a preschooler, your creativity can only accept your lack of attention and delay in playing with her for so long before she throws a tantrum!
Don’t fall for the LIES of Resistance! My LIES OF RESISTANCE BOOKLET is a collection of the lies we fall for when facing Resistance. Knowing it’s a lie is the first step in overcoming the Resistance you face when you find yourself neglecting your creative practice.

Finished Red-tailed Black Cockatoo! Only the adult males of these rowdy birds have the full band of red in their tail feathers and sometimes they can fly in flocks of up to 500 birds - imagine the racket!! 🙉😆 #blackcockatoo
I created another tiny eye painting. Thank you for being so encouraging as I tried something new! You are all so kind. I did a lot of planning today in a notebook for the new year. I've felt lately a bit directionless and unsure where I am going with my art. Writing helped though, it always does. It's quite strange the way we can have the answers to many things inside us already, but unless we talk or write them out, we might not know what they are. It's incredible how much we know, that we don't know we know... wisdom and answers that are subconscious until we draw them out, in words or art.
The human mind is a momentous thing.
Anyway my notepad is quite blossoming with ideas now, there is so much I can't wait to create. For anyone else who feels lost, in regards to anything in life, writing helps. Lots of love.
