I started my journey exactly 6 months ago and since then I've never stopped!
Some years ago, I decided to change my life starting from food, preferring healthy food to junk food and honestly it wasn't easy at all, there were always temptations, but it was worth it. I lost at least 6-7 kg and my self-esteem began to grow.
Then, I tried to go to the gym but after a maximum of 3 months I got tired and gave up, and this happened several times!🙄☹️ With no motivation and no constancy, I've never seen relevant results. I had enter in a vicious circle and I didn't do nothing to change this situation. Indeed, I used the worst excuses at all: "I don't have time", 'I'm too tired today", "it's too hot/cold", "maybe tomorrow", ecc. 🙈🙈
This year, in February, my friend told me about Kayla and her program, how hard it is, literally impossible to do.
THIS was the moment when I decided to accept the challenge and give it a try to BBG. After the first workout, I remember I thought "omg, I will never do it". But, I always repeated that it was a challenge with myself and I didn't want to give up, NOT this time!☝️
And so, after every workout, I found out a new version of me: motivated more and more, with a definite purpose and stronger everyday.
Kayla literally changed my life. I've never thought I would ever be able to complete her workouts, but I did!!💪💪😍 She gave me the boost I needed, the strength to believe I could do it and the right motivation to go on.
The discovery of this community was the turning point. I met a lot of supportive, kind and special people and this helped me to never forget why I started my journey.👌💕
24 weeks later, I want to say thank you to Kayla and to everyone of you! 💖💖

1️⃣ I'm extremely adaptable! I don't care too much if plans change or if I have to move roles, cities and habits! Everywhere you put me, I'll be comfy and make the most put of it!
2️⃣ I'm curious! I love to read, listen, watch, talk, travel... and learn something new everyday!
3️⃣ I'm positive! Whatever happens, I always look at the bright side and try to cherish and support people around me in difficult moments; when things are meant to be, they always find a way, we only need to prepare the path for what lies ahead and always believe in ourselves!
I'm restarting BBG but this time not alone, i'm sweat with my husband 😍😍... I moved to the US in January of 16, and prior to that I had visited several times TX , meeting Sarah and the @bbg_houston group in October of 2015 ❤️ they were amongst the first friends I made here, and you know it's hard to leave everything behind you and move to a different country. You are not only leaving your friends and family, but you are leaving your culture. And believe me, it's not easy. But I love the US, I love its culture and Americans have always made me feel AT HOME. ❤️These girls make me feel not alone even if I'm 9000 km apart from Palermo & Milan , and they make Texas feel like HOME 💕! This is my first progress pic and at the third attempts I can say "I finished BBG1". The two times that I tried to start BBG I had a different mental approach. I was thinking about it like something that could help me to be more "beautiful". Everytime I had to do a workout I found excuses. Now it's different, BBG is my routine, it's my life. When you start to think that sport is not a target for something, but it's a lifestyle.. you are in. Yes in these two photos you cannot see all my results in 3 months of BBG. I have other photos more specific and made with the same lights and positions, but I did them in my lingerie and I prefer not to publish them. So in conclusion, everyone can change. obviously I have wide hips (it's bone, not fat) so I have to accept them, but when you feel good in your body is best feeling ever! Also another thing, my english is not so good, but I know that my BBG sisters are able to understand all 😘

Questa è la mia prima foto progresso e al terzo tentativo posso dire "ho finito la BBG1". Le due volte che ho iniziato partivo con un approccio mentale diverso. Pensavo alla BBG come un modo per diventare più "bella". Ogni volta che dovevo iniziare un circuito trovavo sempre delle scuse. Ora è diverso, BBG è la mia routine, la mia vita. Quando inizi a pensare che lo sport non è un obiettivo per arrivare a qualcosa, ma è uno stile di vita.. ormai sei dentro. In queste sue foto non potete vedere tutti i progressi che ho avuto nei miei tre mesi di BBG. Ho anche foto molto più specifiche e fatte con le stesse luci e stesse posizioni, ma sono in lingerie e noni va di pubblicarle. In conclusione, chiunque può cambiare, ovvio che i miei fianchi larghi (sono osso, non grasso) non posso cambiarli e devo accettarli, ma quando inizi a stare bene col tuo corpo, questa è la sensazione migliore !

I'm petite, i'm 5'2 and I weigh about 108-109 pounds ( I honestly haven't weighed myself in a while cause i'm part of my friend @kelseywells ' #screwthescale movement and since I've moved into my new apartment more than a year ago, I have NOT EVEN OWNED ONE 🙌🏼💥) ... but let's get to the point, i'm "tiny" but I have built up some serious #Strenght 🙌🏼💥 because strength comes from within, despite your physical aspect! It's a matter of wanting to build it up!!! #Discipline and #determination got me where I am at, and as my #fitnessjourney evolved, I was no longer seeking for that #goalbody , I wanted to rather become #STRONG . I still can grow a lot, i'm #proudbutneversatisfied 🙌🏼❤️ and will always be striving for #progress and never for #perfection .
Perfection does not exist, we all have our flaws and learning to accept them is the key 🔑 to #selflove ! ❤️ // 🇮🇹 Sono alta - anzi, mmm bassa - 160 cm e peso circa 49 kg, sottolineo il CIRCA perché da quando ho cambiato casa più di 1 anno fa, ho deciso di non comprarla nemmeno la bilancia e seguire la mia amica @kelseywells nel suo #screwthescale . Dunque mi peso una volta ogni tanto in palestra quando faccio la body composition check con il mio pt. Sono minuta di costituzione e non potrò cambiarlo, però in questi 3 anni ho sicuramente costruito tantissima #forza perché l'esser forti è qualcosa che hai dentro, ed è la #determinazione e la #passione che la fanno semplicemente venire fuori! 🙌🏼 Ho tantissima strada davanti, "sono orgogliosa dei miei progressi ma mai soddisfatta al 100%", perché sono una persona determinata e sarò sempre alla ricerca del mio miglioramento, non tanto esteriore quanto interiore. Lo sport per me è solo un mezzo, verso un fine ben più importante.
Nessuno è perfetto, ricordatevelo. Non fatevi abbindolare dalla perfezione che le foto possono trasmettere, io non ho ben in vista i muscoli delle spalle 24h su 24, ma mi piace questa foto ed ho deciso di condividera. Amatevi per ciò che siete... #amorproprio 💝 •

Ed eccoci all ultimo video, come promesso... come 3ª sfida del nostro FRIDAY CHALLENGE, dopo gli altri due leggerissimi wod, abbiamo pensato bene di fare una PLANK CHALLENGE... sinceramente era l'unica che pensavo di vincere 😂 ma arrivata a quel punto... i miei quadricipiti chiedevano pietà gia dal primo secondo (si noti il mio bacino gia troppo alto dall'inizio 😂)... Marco invece sembra la persona piu tranquilla del mondo (tutta apparenza dato che anche lui mi ha confessato di essere arrivato a quella sfida molto provato 😂). Questo quindi non è un video rappresentativo d un plank challenge duraturo e perfetto, ma rende assolutamente l'idea della sfattanza cn la quale bisognerebbe sempre arrivare ad ogni fine allenamento 🙌🏻😎 spero che anche voi arriviate spesso a questi passi, perchè la soddisfazione che si prova è veramente immane... nel momento in cui ero sdraiata a terra poi plank, e non riuscivo ad alzarmi... sentivo che ogni singolo muscolo del mio corpo aveva dato il massimo... e io non potevo esserne piu felice 😍✨ Quindi Cecilia 2-1 @cilio81 😎 ma solo per questa volta... ho il presentimento che la prossima CHALLENGE non sarà cosi fattibile 😂 intanto il signorino ha una bella peniteza scelta dalla sottoscritta😏 150 curl con manubri 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😂 cattiva??? Nah... considerato che se avessi perso io avrei dovuto fare 150 burpees 😏
