If the fear of revealing oneself has become so deeply imbeded in our life that we have difficulty trusting ourselves, we really may not know where to begin the process of revealing our true selves...even to ourself because we have internalized all the external messages about who others believe us to be. When we can recognize others comments are based on their lived experience and is a reflection of who they are, we can begin to let go of the pressure we feel to live up to others expectations. When we come from a spiritual place, we won't hold their comments about us against them. We'll understand there is a much larger picture available to us, yet to be discovered. *A word of caution here... Be keen about who you talk to. You want to reveal to others who are safe, not those who will further ridicule you or share with others what you open up about. People who do that are not going to help your process.* When we speak, we hear ourselves saying what we spoke. Hearing ourselves helps us to explore our thinking because once something is verbalize, we may recognize what we said was a thought, and somehow, doesn't feel true or congruent to your inner knowing. This creates confusion. It's a good thing. Because our confusion wants to be in alignment with who we truly are. So, work through the tears and discomfort, knowing there is freedom from fear coming with resolution. You are stronger than you realize. Find your faith. Namasté
