But @chrisdowningfitness got me again. I was always pretty sure I was strong. I can pull 100# on the lat pull down & press 205# on the leg press. I can deadlift 90# & squat ass to grass 115#. But these Shift Shop workouts are on a whole other level. I broke up with my gym to do Beachbody & wasn't sure I was making the right decision. Let's face it, I like to lift heavy. But Shift Shop has me sore in places I didn't even think could be sore. It's allowed me to push myself & grow in ways I never thought possible. And the journey is just beginning. Not only am I showing up for myself every day, but I've got a whole group of girls in my corner, checking in & keeping me accountable. This program has changed my life.
Dear Me, Thank you so much for being the one person I could talk to. Thank you for never leaving my side through the tough and ugly times. Thank you for being my rock. Thank you for being understanding. Thank you for being patient, kind, friendly. Thank you for accepting me for who I was, and looking on the inside, not the outside.

I feel like a good workout is the best medicine for me. I even said to John that I should have exercised yesterday, maybe it would have made me feel better. Needless to say, he looked at me like I was nuts lol and told me otherwise.

Have spent today doing things I LOVE! I saw @chris_duo_chelsea for an amazing 🍑 session. Followed by brunch at @lepainquotidien then the afternoon I have been spending time with my flatmates 😘

Ripsanity was pretty intense for me. I took breaks, modified and even paused halfway through! It took a lot of mental power to push myself through this workout. I’ve felt pretty defeated lately which has caused me to eat unhealthy, make excuses and pretty much....give up.
I woke up today and had the same feelings I did two years ago when I began my weight loss journey at 235lbs. I knew I deserved better and could do better. I had to stop beating myself down, focusing on my flaws and putting my health on the back burner.

I don’t like the way my body looks. I don’t like how I feel. And I don’t like seeing me struggle. But I know there’s someone out there like me. Starting over. Struggling. And trying to do better.
We can do this. One day at a time. One decision at a time. Don’t focus on the end result. Focus on your daily progress and the things you’re doing right RIGHT NOW.
