I am joining the ranks of mermaid enthusiasts and sea lion impersonators. This mama finally got her first, very own wetsuit. My heart is bursting. Bring on the wave frolicking and sandy shenanigans! #oneill
My kids love to play at the beach. Like, really really love to.
There are things that I am good at and things that I can never accomplish. So while I guess I can still pass at making sandcastles, taking a net and hunting for creatures in the sea is just not right up my alley. The thing is, my girls (yes, both of my girls) simply love to hunt for anything that moves!
So, I am always very grateful that the hubby does this job and does it so well. Armed with his fishing net and a willingness to get wet, they managed to catch little fishes, shrimps, crabs (which were all released later) and in his attempt to catch a mudskipper, he got his ankle cut by a rock but still kept going. Yup kiddos, be thankful that you have a strong Daddy who will go to the end of the earth just for you (and a Mummy who sits by the side, plays with didi and takes pictures while staying dry). 😉

Someone once asked me, "If you had $700 in your pocket, what would you do?
Buy a plane ticket to paradise land?
Lock yourself up in your room and vent over the fact that life is unfair?"
I bought the plane ticket. One-way to paradise land.
This is Playa Delfines. My favourite beach in Cancun and probably throughout Mexico. But most of all, I've experienced magic here. Magic that changed my life and taught me more about life.
I met my first Mexican friends under one of these cool tikis. I cried on this beach. I healed on this beach. I made many more friends at this beach. I went on a date and watched the moon eclipse happened and on the same night experienced watching mother turtles lay eggs in the dark, silent night on this beach.
I want to know, which other beaches in this world would you recommend this beach bum to visit?
