Young Living business meeting with Lincoln in tow because I'm all about that hustling mama life.
Super grateful I have that option to take him with me - to meet at coffee shops and parks with other like-minded mamas. My monthly supplements and oils have been free since day 1 of this business plus I get some extra spending cash that always goes to Lincoln because he's way more fun to shop for than myself. 💁🏽
Our team is full of women supporting women, women going places and making a difference in so many people's lives by way of oils, simply by being a vessel.
If you could use a little something to support your oil addiction (or your shopping addiction,) holler. 🙋🏽
P.s. Putting this out there is SO out of my comfort zone. I don't talk about the business side of Young Living. Ever. But as Abraham Maslow says - At any given moment we have two options: To step forward into growth or to step back into safety.
Pitaya power! I can't believe I only recently had pitaya for the first time, in its fresh fruit form. I've had this beautiful dragon fruit in my smoothies and smoothies bowls. The taste was not what I expected, I guess those smoothies masked the taste but not color. :) It reminds me a lot like a kiwi, does anyone agree? Or was it not ripe enough (from my mom's plant)?
The never ending story of Matcha and Me. I never thought anything of Matcha except that maybe it was good for you and all my favourite IG account were using it☝😯 ASIA CHANGED THAT FOR ME! I am now undeniably obsessed with it. Matcha lattes all damn day (if it was possible, which it isnt but still) 🌱❤😍 #matchalovers
I've started to meditate and journal about my meditations to keep myself accountable.
These days I've been feeling tired and depressed. It's hard to be present when you're depressed. I find myself wanting to escape from the Now.
I know it's the new moon. I want to journal with some questions I found relating to the new moon in Libra, but I can't bring myself to do it yet.
I find myself resisting journaling when I know I need it most... when I know I need to let words flow from myself.
How's the new moon treating you? Also don't forget to enter to win a meditation book and a 60 min session with me. Link in bio.
So excited to share with you more of what I've been creating behind the scenes! Here is a mood board for Registered Dietitian @daniejudsonrd 🙌 Mood boards are a *crucial* first step to developing any brand (and SUPER fun to create). This will inform the look and feel of the brand and make sure we keep the branding process fun ✨ I always have my clients pick some adjectives to describe their brand, in this case it was: Rustic, Whimsical and Earthy.
What adjective best describes *you* and your brand? 👇
After the gym sesh 🏋🏻♀️ & a 1-hr massage 💆🏻 earlier this week, my body definitely needed some peppermint oil. ❄️ I add a few drops with my body oils after the shower 💉 & out come the menthol vibes. 🌬
Peppermint oil is good for muscle tension, headaches & nausea & has become a staple oil for me. ☝🏼

This afternoon I had a moment of quiet (so in other words I wasn't talking at my cats or listening to podcasts) when I paused, breathed deeply and just kinda let my anxiety go. And it felt hella good.
The quote "life's too short to be anything but happy" comes to me often. (Because it's true, obviously). And yeah, it's A LOT easier said than done, especially when struggling with mental illness. But I've gotten better at seeing all the good around me. Because being mindful and present allows YOU to make your own happiness. ✌🏼
This weekend enjoy getting outside and spending time surrounded by friends and family but take a moment and remember the men and women who serve over seas. Give a nod of gratitude to the heavens and thank all those warriors who've given their lives, as well as those who are currently serving, so that we may enjoy the freedoms we have in this country. Godspeed ladies and gentlemen.

Today on the blog I’m talking about mental health. This is a challenging topic for me to write about because it’s such a sensitive issue, yet it’s a vital part of overall well-being. There are many activities we can do to improve our own mental health, from yoga to mindfulness, to regular exercise and gratitude. Check out the link in my bio 😊
1 small handful of pistachios = 12 pistachios = 90 calories.
The other day I mindlessly ate 50 pistachios... 375 calories later I counted all the shells out to see how many I had actually just eaten.
NOW: This in itself means nothing without the context of the rest of my day's consumption. 12 pistachios, 50 pistachios, whatever - I can make either amount fit into a balanced day of eating. That's not the point.
The point is...
I can’t count on myself to eat anything out of a bag while remaining mindful of my consumption. And this is a HUGE limiting factor in a lot of people's weightloss efforts. I was able to down 50 pistachios in no time. I wasn't present. I was on eating auto-pilot and trust me, eating auto-pilot will never help you make progress towards your goals.
Bottom line: if you're like me...
✔️Portion everything you eat out, BEFORE YOU EAT IT. 😂🤦🏻♀️
✔️ Enjoy what you're eating.
And if you're wanting to lose body fat:
✔️ Eat to 80% full.
Looking back to just a year ago our goal was to be in this exact spot- enrolled in these exact programs. As a nursing and law student a large part of our days are spent studying. Most students and/or professionals devout countless hours on top of regular curriculum to preparing for their futures. A lot, if not all of our free time is spent stressing about both the near and far future. Sometimes we have to take a step back from planning the life we want to realize that maybe we already have it. While it's important to have goals and prepare for the future, it is equally important to be happy, in the present, in the now! Do what you love and love what you do! #coffeeconversation#goals#bemindful#bethankful#bepresent
#funfact according to a Harvard study, about 47% of waking hours are spent thinking about things that aren't happening. Studies have shown that a wandering mind is not a happy mind. #mindfulness#happiness#beyourself#care#harvard
We LOVE these! Metatron's Cube is a great Sacred Geometry shape to use for manifesting! This would be perfect to add to your meditation altar!

I’ve been thinking about what leadership truly means. We are taught that leadership is only for certain people- for the charismatic, the people who can command a crowd. As women we are generally taught that men serve in leadership roles, that this isn’t something women should do. I know I never considered myself a leader up until I stepped into my 30s and into my power. Leaders also don’t need to have a huge platform, they don’t need to be a politician, actor, or even someone who commands an audience. We all lead, YOU lead someone everyday. Our actions affect other people all the time, even when we don’t realize it. The small things we do or say have an impact. And that’s leadership. You can be introverted, you can have a hard time speaking on stage, you don’t need to have a campaign to have something meaningful and important to say that inspires others. So go use that voice of yours, and recognize how you lead everyday. You matter as a leader. And there aren’t any bounds for what you can achieve as a leader, only the limitations your mind sets on you.
Things are so unbelievably different now. I look at this photo and it brings happy tears to my eyes, because it’s the first time I’ve felt like ME in so very long. I am strong and vibrant again. I recovered.
I’ve never liked to talk about being sick... it’s been difficult for me to be that vulnerable, that raw, especially after shutting down for so many years.
Now it’s quickly coming up on a year since I received a full clean bill of health from my doctors, and it’s still hard for me to believe I spent 4+ years before that dealing with so many scary unknowns and challenges. •
Being sick scared the shit out of me. It was terrifying and I felt really alone most of the time, except for my incredible wife and a few close friends.
It disrupted other friendships, my self-esteem, overall sense of security, and so much more.
But it also gifted me a new chance at life, at happiness and at following my real passion.
It taught me more and allowed me to grow in ways I never could have imagined or predicted, or even known to ask or look for. •
I realized along the way that I’m someone who feels a lot of things, and I’m very aware, but it takes me a long time to process more serious stuff in a way that I feel comfortable communicating.
I’m working on being more vulnerable, at shedding some insight as to why I’m here, now, and why I spend every day talking my face off about yoga and wellness! •
This lifestyle changed my existence and happiness in the best ways possible, and I really want to share it with all of you in a way that makes sense, is helpful and valuable!!! So you can experience it too ☺️
Please bear with me… More to come xx
Thanks for capturing the moment @haydenashimself #chicagophotographer#chicago#chicagoyoga

It occurred to me that I have no pictures including my face! Then I felt weird about that, so hence this picture andddd a long post to go with it🤷🏻♀️😂
I’m Cassie 🙋🏻I just graduated from college and moved to a new area in Coastal North Carolina. After finding myself way too stressed I decided to start spending my free time practicing more yoga, reading, writing, and just trying to be more present and have a more positive perspective. It’s been awesome and I’m becoming so much more connected to myself. I’ve been having the feeling like something good was coming my way and today I got offered a job! Changing your perspective will change your life🙌🏼🦋
Do you LOOK but FAIL to SEE?
Are you so focused on reaching your destination that you are in a rush to get there?
We live in a world where we are in GO, GO, GO mode. Always in a hurry to get from point A to B; that sadly we fail to stop and appreciate the little things along our path.
We fail to realise and acknowledge that it's the experiences along our journey,
that actually prepare us for what awaits at the destination.
Today as I set out for my soul stroll the quiet voice of intuition told me to stop! 'Look down...and SEE what's at your feet'! To my delight I found a 🍀 5 LEAF CLOVER (no typo)!!! In fact in the space of 30 minutes I found 16 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀. Now some may call me lucky, but the truth is I wasn't the first to walk past this cluster of clovers, nor will I be the last. However, today I was perhaps only one of few that chose to LOOK closely and SEE what was there right in front of me.
It's experiences like this that remind me to shift my focus from the destination and appreciate the journey,
by concentrating on the present.
So as you journey to your destination, wherever it may be, find value in the lessons you're learning along the way.
Take the time to STOP, LOOK, SEE and FEEL all those little gifts, experiences, challenges and lessons that fill your everyday life.
For it's the little things in life that make for an extraordinary adventure.
Don't be in a rush...
Your already on this path, so why not...
TAKE TIME TO LOOK & SEE all that life is offering YOU RIGHT NOW!! The choice is yours and the REWARDS are bountiful!! #itsthelittlethingsinlifethatmatter#taketimetorelax#fourleafclover#shrinksession#soulstroll#lookandsee#naturesgifts#believeinmiracles#magic#luckoftheirish#bemindful
I see you Cincinnati 😏
Excited to ride at @cyclebarhydepark tomorrow!! If you're in the area check out the OG @cyclebar because you should and you definitely don't need a reason 🤷🏻♀️😘

It's all about the balance🙏
Thoughts from @xkafelatte:
Gratitude can be shown in many ways. A verbal “Thank you” to the bus driver for operating the bus that allows you to go to school. Carrying your own re-usable bottle, so you can reduce one more plastic cup that isn’t good for the environment. Finishing every last bit of food that someone took the time to prepare for you, even if you don’t really like the taste of it.
Being able to express my gratitude makes me feel happier and have a more positive mindset, because in order to express that gratitude, I need to realize what I’m grateful for in the first place. With that said, thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts with you as well as my love for art :).
The now wants to be appreciated because it is always different and never the same. The now wants to be honored because it carries with it power, vitality, peace and creativity. The now wants to be experienced because it's happening right before your eyes and doesn't want to be missed. The now wants you to stop thinking and start living. So let's get down with the now today. Create space for it. Take notice of the moment. Be an observer. Surrender yourself into whatever you're doing as if there were no other option. Activate all your senses and experience the world the way it was meant to be experienced, with all of your amazing being. #mindfulness#presentmoment#powerofnow
