I used to think 30 minute workouts were a joke. 😜😄 How could you possibly get a "real" workout in that short amount of time?
Well....when you work multiple muscle groups simultaneously, it can HAPPEN! 🤯

This superfoods shake has gotten me through this week of the uninvited virus that came to visit. Full of so much nutrients and just what my body needs to stay healthy and fight off those nasty viruses when they come. Something that could have taken me out for a week or two, only lasted 48 hours!! And I rarely get sick at that!! So, yes I will just keep drinking this cup of awesomeness daily. The Flu virus has come for an uninvited visit. It's a short one, but it takes your energy for sure. Skipped my workout yesterday since a healthy lifestyle is all about listening to your body. Went ahead with going for it today, but modified!! Just wanted to get moving. My bud tried to workout with me, but he's not quite back from the virus yet!! ⤵
Resting is totally ok!! It's part of the program and it's a must sometimes. I am so thankful that I can bounce back quickly because of my healthy lifestyle. I know before, this virus would have had me down much longer, and my mindset would have aided that!

Sometimes you have to improvise.
I wanted to get my workout done early this morning before leaving the house. For whatever reason however, my BOD wouldn't load my scheduled workout of the day. Now.. it took me a hot minute to think about it (cause that's just me 😆), but I realized that I already knew what exercises to do plus my additional burnout. So I improvised. I just set the timer on my phone and got to work!! No excuses! Sure.. I could've just put it off and tried again later, but that was not my plan. I know I would've still done it, but I'd much rather get it done beforehand when I have other obligations.
Not every workout is going to be perfect and go according to plan, but that doesn't mean you give up on yourself or your goals! You can't make excuses.. period. If you want lasting results, you've still gotta put forth the effort consistently to make sure you are making yourself a priority. No matter what life throws at you, you must dig deep to overcome challenges. It can be hard some days, but the reward of being healthy and fit will be sooooo worth it!! 😘😘😘
I am beyond sad that I can't train right now🤕 it saved my life years ago and has every day ever since. I only pray that I'll heal 💯% so I can go above and beyond in this next chapter of my life. For now I take those baby steps and keep the faith that soon I will roar again.

Wherever you go, whatever journey you're on and through the seasons. Run. Short or long, run. Breath in life and exhale what weighs on your shoulders. There is no such thing as being a runner when we were all born to run. Have you ever watched a baby try and stand for the first time? Or take their first steps? We were born to run, as an infant we learned to crawl, and naturally we stand, we fight to stand. We stand assisted, and we fall. We get back up, take a few steps and fall... we go back to what we knew- crawling because it's safe. But moments later we attempt to stand again and again we take a step, until those steps lead unassisted. Until the unassisted steps lead to walking and walking leads to running. We are taught how to do a proper back squat. We are educated on how to snatch, deadlift, shoulder press and more. No one taught us how to run, it's our natural instinct. There has never been a run that I finished that I regretted. The hardest part of a run is lacing up your shoes and getting out the door. They hardest part about sticking with a running schedule is getting through the first 2 weeks; anything there after you begin to crave- to go further and harder. .

ROLLS!!!! We ALL have them. It's how we sit, it's what we eat, it's after a long day with a full belly, it's first thing in the morning with an empty stomach, it's right after completing a 10 min ab workout, it's a pair of tight jeans... No shame at all! We ALL have it. We're human.

This bracelet represents my goal, my purpose, my challenge, my cleanse, and my why. I am almost half way there and I feel fantastic.
