2 atoms in a molecule | noah & the whale 🎶
I took a break from this account for way too long. I wasn't busy, I think I was just thinking about the busyness that is coming soon. I want to take advantage of my posting and reading time before uni starts again next month. So, hello again!
QOTD: What are you reading? #📚
#rfabjuly17 - Map Books
#fangirljulychallenge - Purple Books
You never know when it's the last time one walks . You never know when it's the last time one talks . You never know when it's the last time one says "Hi" to his friends . You never know when it's the last time one eats with his family . You never know when it's the last time one feels the warmth of the sun . You never know when it's the last time one sees the full moon . You never know when it's the last time one feels depressed , because soon it's gonna be all over . You never know when it's the last time you bid goodbye to your friend . "You never know when it's the last time you meet someone ." You never know . Afterall , who knows !
Happy Monday lovelies- we hope it's treated you well, ours has been ok ☺
Day 24 of #rfabjuly17 - Map Books... I can't get enough of books with maps in! We loooove maps! Star has them all over her house 😂 The ones pictured here are from Caraval and The Wish Granter 😍
Day 1 of #bookstagrambestieschallenge ...we are so excited to take part in this challenge by the wonderful @cosyreads and @paperbackpiano - and the first day is fave book besties, if you guys haven't checked out this challenge go go go, it's only a week long so you have to be quick! 💙
Shadow and Bone is probably one of my favorite reads of this year. I liked the story, but it's just making me excited to pick up the next two! Then move on to Six of Crows! I've just heard amazing things, and I just can't wait to continue with it!
And I just had to mention this NerdWicks meltable from June's Nerdy Post box. This is seriously the best smelling thing ever! Everything in the box ended up smelling like it🤤It's just lovely!
QotD: If you could have any superpower, what would you choose to have?
I'd love to be able to shapeshift! Either humans or animals, but I think it'd be so cool to be able to fly as a bird to places rather than a airplane😋
Have a lovely day everyone!
🇩🇪In ihrem neusten Kinderbuch Minus Drei und die wilde Lucy – Das Große Dunkel lässt Ute Krause große Kinderängste auf einmal ganz klein werden. Lest mehr auf meinem Blog 😊!

Is anyone participating in BookTubeaThon? What are you hoping to read?
I'm going to *try* to read as much as I can this week, but it's going to be a pretty chaotic week for me as I'm extremely busy with work and meeting friends. I'm currently reading Blue Lily, Lily Blue and I'm loving it! I'm only 50 pages in, but if I try very hard I can get it finished tomorrow! I don't know if I'm then going to start The Raven King or continue onto some of my other short books in my TBR for this week! •Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
•Saga: Volume One
•Juniper Lemon's Happiness Index
Good luck to everyone this week, happy reading!! 💗
I'm obsessed with Mr. Tiger Goes Wild. It's a wonderful, colorful story about the balance of civilization and nature - and also about individuality and being yourself. The illustrations are captivating and the story is endearing. This is a must own as far as I'm concerned.
when life gets rough, I like to hold on to my dream,
of relaxing in the summer sun, just lettin' off steam.
oh the sky would be blue, and you guys will be there too
when I finally do what frozen things do in summer.
~ in summer from frozen
Summer isn't over yet, friends! I know some of you will be starting school soon, so if you need a book to keep you in the summer spirit, here are a few!😄
(Or if you just want a cute, fun, read😉)
▪P.S. I Like You by Kasie West ~ this one guys, is just fabulous😍 it's one of those books you read in a day, and then feel super happy after reading it 😊💙 also, Cade😍
▪Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon ~ this is such a cute book 😄 I love the little doodles in it, so much fun! Also, Olly 😍
▪Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson ~ been thinking about re-reading this...probably will soon 😉 it's got friendship, crazy dares, and summer fun! What more could you want?😄
▪The Goodbye Bride by Denise Hunter ~ this one is a fun one to, it follows a woman who can't remember the last seven months, which means she doesn't remember leaving her fiance weeks before their wedding😱 (also, the last book in this trilogy, Just a Kiss, is fabulous to😍)
So there you have it friends, some cute summer reads to keep the school blues away!😉😄
question of the day 📣
Have you read any of these? What are some of your favorite summer reads? 😄🏖☉
Good morning! (Yeah yeah, I know it's like 2 in the afternoon already, but hey, I'm on holidays! 😎) So, have you guys read Kate Morton? I have these two books by her, out of which I've only read The Forgotten Garden. However, I never get tired of saying how much I love that book, and how wonderful it is in every way. Actually, I think the only reason why I haven't started this other book yet is that its length intimidates me! Well, have an amazing week readers, and thank you soooo much for 400 followers!!! 😘
Spanning world civilizations, synthesizing dozens of political, philosophical, and religious texts and thousands of years of violent conflict, The 33 Strategies of War is a comprehensive guide to the subtle social game of everyday life informed by the most ingenious and effective military principles in war. Structured in Greene’s trademark style, The 33 Strategies of War is the I-Ching of conflict, the contemporary companion to Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.
I was planning on a different pic today using solo, aka the ginger death ball that will probably kill me one day, but nopedynope that didn't work hence me calling him a death ball. So then I tried to use my dog but yeah, she was just kissing me non stop and I couldn't get a pic so that didn't work either which is how we got to these mediocre pics. I made cookies though so that's great, I mean I burned them a little but who cares? Not me obviously coz I've eaten the majority of them 😂 anyways I'm gonna do a tag because I'm not being a lazy ass for once!
@bayanreads and @books.are.magic96 tagged me to do the #10thingsiwouldneversay tag, thanks guys 😘 🙊 I hate books
🙊 I love going out and socialising 🙊 I hate animals
🙊 I can whistle

To celebrate the release of An Eye For An Eye one year ago, the Kindle edition is currently at the super low price of 99c at Amazon US until July 30th! Be sure to head over to Amazon.com and check it out while it's super cheap! The paperback is still $5.99 which is also pretty reasonable for a fancy cover featuring the Tyne Bridge and a pair of scary eyes.

#FREE#NOW - Billionaires and Ballerinas
Authors Skye Warren, Whitney G., and Katie de Long!
Three scorching hot novellas about billionaires and the ballerinas who captivate them!
BILLIONAIRES & BALLERINAS contains three scorching novellas about billionaires and the ballerinas who captivate them.
SWEET by Skye Warren:
We shouldn't be together, but everything about him draws me. His intensity, his kindness.
And the way he looks in those custom tailored suits.
One night when he's outside my bedroom, I give him a sexy show. And in doing so, unlock pandora's box. The cost of my freedom may be the man I've come to love.
REASONABLE DOUBT by Whitney G.: My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.
This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.
At least it was , until "Alyssa"... She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.
But then she came into my firm for an interview--a college-intern interview, and everything f*****g changed... STEP BACK by Katie De Long
When Malia's career as a professional ballet dancer ended, she burned a lot of bridges and hurt a lot of people, including her childhood love Ben.
Now she's in the wrong place at the wrong time. What could be worse than ending up in your first love's lap...while stripping at his brother's bachelor party?

#grimdragon Day 24--What really grinds my gears. So my pick for this was the fact that there's no illustrated Clash of Kings announced. I really hate it when publishers do cool editions of just one book in the series. Maybe we'll still get an announcement soon? I need the rest haha. *
I also realized, as I was taking the picture, that I really don't love this cover. The text part looks very low-quality, it just doesn't feel super sturdy, etc. I got it for $15 from BookOutlet and I'm glad I did as I don't think it's worth the full $50 (the black U.K. Edition seems to be a lot better though!).
Day 24. "And Peggy" - Underrated Character
I haven't seen anyone talking about the Mace from The Queen of the Tearling trilogy and he deserves all the attention! I can't say much without spoiling it but he is the best thing from these books. Also, the Queen's Guard were also a highlight. I loved the relationship between each of them and then with Kelsea!
"The Schuyler Sisters" is one of my favourite Hamilton songs. I was shocked when I discovered Peggy's actress also played Hamilton's mistress. Her voice sounds so different in each song! I am always amazed at people's talents (which I had one of my own 😂).
current read 📖✨
i finished This House is Haunted a few days ago and this post was about to be published last thursday, but because of unforeseen reasons i just couldn't post it.
One of the main messages in which the book brings, is to say that unlike popular opinion, not all Poltergeits cases are evil occurrences, unlike many people think.. and also that it's unexplainable, nobody knows what it really is, whether a combination of fragments of independent entities or a "secondary personality" projected in the current space. It was certainly a very interesting read.
I hope everyone is doing well! oh, and especially since it is the first day of booktubathon! good luck to everyone participating! unfortunately I cannot attend because I have a huge essay I have yet to complete... it is really awful. I have to stay positive though. *le sigh* smile through it and it might go faster.
