Take note the dates are month/year abbreviations.
#BirdsOfParadise is one of my favorite poses but has always been a struggle for me. With flexibility and balance both being important factors, I usually only actually hold this pose for a few seconds max and I don't feel strong and comfortable in it at all 😩 but that'll come in time once I really make an effort with it. My balance simply sucks as a whole 😂.
Inktober Day 12: Dr. Amelia Bradley and a bird-of-paradise from the genus Ptiloris ("Riflebirds") / There are so many birds-of-paradise, I had no idea which one to choose *cough* I dunno what kind of personality Dr. Bradley would have, but I really enjoyed drawing her design, and I imagine she knows more than people believe her to know. Please visit www.birdsofparadiseproject.org if you want to learn more about these crazy birds!!!
So for Inktober this year, I wanted to include animals and plants like last year, but also push myself out of my comfort zone and introduce the characters that are from a story I'm planning on turning into a comic. I'm also just gonna experiment with how to use my pens again (aaaah). I've always, ALWAYS wanted to create an original comic of my own and I hope maybe this will bring some interest or at least help me take the leap to start officially working on it. Hope it's entertaining somehow?
