Fairtrade, ethically made and empowering talented female artisans and keeping their traditions alive from generation to generation - these are the traits I look for when sourcing textiles from around the world. ❤❤❤
And I love hearing about organisations and companies who are helping local communities across the globe to prosper. Let me tell you a little more about @salomatIkat, Tahmina is supporting female artisans from the beautiful central Asia country of Tajikistan. Salomat gives a percentage of her profits to support parents whose children have Down Syndrome, promote inclusion and break down barriers and prejudice.
She's definitely worth a follow - and her products are amazing! 😍
✨🌈I have this thing with color 🌈✨
Also, I am totally completely absolutely in love with my pouf from @dkrenewal 🤩 The quality is incredible and these colors are perfect for the green room! They’re having daily deals until the 18th so pop over to their account to see what’s on deck today! (I’m kinda their #1 fan)

I don't think we'll ever get used to towing our little home down the road. It feels so exposed, so vulnerable. I remember the first time it left my folks driveway almost a year ago to the day after we spent 7 months building it. We didn't have a truck yet and hired a guy to tow it out to North Carolina for the winter while we followed behind. As we left the long drive, the sight of it making the final turn onto the open road made me burst into tears. It feels so strange to pour so much of your time and energy into perfecting something only to turn around and send it down the road at 70 miles an hour. And here we are one year and 6,000 miles later and the sight of it barreling down the road behind us still makes me uneasy. If only I could wrap her up in bubble wrap every time she hit the road. 🙄
