‘Like everyone should just go travelling, cuz you just don’t really know you until you do it. It’s like so spiritual and really lets you find your true self and centres your chi’ said every stereotypical backpacker ever 😂 but honestly was amazing to see this temple after trekking up the hill and climbing the 300 steps 🌄🎎🏮
By the surrender of self all difficulties are overcome, and there is no error in the universe but the fire of inward sacrifice will burn it up like chaff; no problem, however great, but will disappear like a shadow under the searching light of self-abnegation. Problems exist only in our own self-created illusions, and they vanish away when self is yielded up. Self and error are synonymous. Error is involved in the darkness of unfathomable complexity, but eternal simplicity is the glory of Truth. - James Allen
By virtue of the thoughts, which they choose and encourage; that mind is the master-weaver, both of the inner garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance, and that, as they may have hitherto woven in ignorance and pain they may now weave in enlightenment and happiness. - James Allen
Throw back to a tempel in Phnom Penh ⛩️
It’s official, our name has changed 🙌🏼
I wanted to change it to link it to my blog and YouTube which I’m hoping to officially launch this week with a few videos already recorded ready to go. The name is a nod to our son Winter who lived for one day 👼🏻❄️ I’m feeling adventurous and brave, I want to take the opportunity I have been given by my little boy to continue his legacy by talking about baby loss and parenting after loss, as well as motherhood in general and Buddhism. Pretty excited about it all, here’s to new ventures 🌱 .
this picture perfectly encapsulates how badass i felt on my way to work listening to black rebel motorcycle club's brand new album. expect me in a cheetah print coat with lips of the galaxy's edge for the new arctic monkeys 💙🌌😎 / 📸 by @litschau ps the album is faaacking sick, go have an ear-gander
RP @veganbeardedguy - Last saturday , we did a cube inside the Dalai Lama temple with 5 cubers (3 tibetans , 1 from Czech Republic) who were doing this for the first time ever and 1 tibetan nun cuber who is our regular volunteer.
We found a little monk who also volunteered to distribute the flyers amazingly.
A place like Dharamshala , where people from all over the world visit and connect to the local spiritual and the beauty of the dhauladar ranges embracing the tibetans living in exile in a hope to go back to their fatherland , amidst you will find fearless and aspiring team of Dharamshala Vegan Movement fighting for animal rights and representing the animal brothers and sisters.
As a victim of opression and injustice , tibetans are no different from the animals for feeling the same sufferings and wanting to be free. Thus, it is our moral duty to fight for both animal rights and human rights. "Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly " -Martin Luther King Jr. "I am in favour of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being " . -Abraham Lincoln.

Last year, 2017. I was surprised by life twice. I meet Dalai Lama(*) two times in a row. First time was one day before his birthday 5th of July and the second time was one day before my birthday 23 of October. I felt lucky, bless and thankful...I still don't understanding why me...but I'm just happy to have that experience as a part of this amazing journey and of course feel happy to meet His Holiness. He is just a living example of love and compassion, you can feel it...thanks again! (*)The Dalai Lama is considered to be the successor in a line of tulkus (living Buddhas masters). The Dalai Lama has always been a symbol of unification of the state of Tibet, where he has represented Buddhist values and traditions. He has become a symbol of Tibetan nationhood for Tibetans both in Tibet and in exile. During the 1959 Tibetan uprising, the Dalai Lama fled to India, where he currently lives as a refugee. The 14th Dalai Lama received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. //
#hisholinessthedalailama#dalailama#dharamsala#india#buddha#buddhism#tashidelek#solotravel#backpacker#namaste#trip#esencianomade
"HOW LONG WILL I LIVE?
I'll give you a piece of good news: if you look deep inside everything, you can realize you'll live forever. You will never die, you'll simply change your shape.
You are like a cloud: a cloud can become snow or rain but it can't die. You are like a wave in the ocean : after you've gone up and down in the shape of a vawe, you keep on being a part of the ocean. Your shape changes but you don't disappear". From the beautiful book of #thichnhathanh 'Perché esiste il mondo/Why does the world exist?' 🌹
