"Present > Perfect. 🙏🏼💓🙌🏼 We've come such a long way in a year as a family. And I have gone through quite the transformation. Far left I had just finished up a 5 mile trail run and I was secretly about 7 weeks pregnant. I felt strong, fast and healthy! In the center at 7 months pregnant I felt large, but healthy and strong (thank you @fit4momsfpeninsula @wheybyj #fit4baby). Today at almost 7 months postpartum I feel small, physically a bit weak, but mentally very strong cause motherhood ain't no joke 💪🏻. 😊I take walks daily with my little one, and am just getting back into the running game- taking it veryyy slow. I know I need to add back in strength training, but giving myself grace to take this time to heal and become a new mom has been my priority. I plan to get lifting again soon and pull out my new @bobgearus stroller this week. Lots of training ahead for this mama as I plan to run my first ever half marathon at @austinmarathon one week before Analise's first birthday!!! 👌🏼 #challengeaccepted.”

It's undeniable my love for training 💙 But there's something special about training during pregnancy for me! 👶🏻 I feel amazing, I don't push myself to extremes and I do a full body workout every time. I might focus on lower body a little more sometimes but I still keep it mixed up ! ❗️❗️ I have been training for 12 years! And half of this time was heavy weights, so now during pregnancy all I had to do was lower the weights to a comfortable level! My pregnancy has no risk and its very important not to stop what was part of your routine before the belly! 💪
As a personal trainer I also specialised in pregnancy training, I use some of those exercises but not all! The thing with pregnancy and training is that  there's no one size fits all type of training ! I know my story but every woman needs a all clear, an assessment from an educated experienced PT and this needs to be adjusted every trimester! 
This is just my way to motivate everyone not only the pregnant ladies to work out and move! If I can do it you can ! ❗️❗️ I'm not working out to put on muscle or to stay lean and hard! My focus is the birth! The natural birth I dream of ! My focus is to reduce labour time, prevent pos natal depression and keep my metabolism moving as it always did before the pregnancy ! And training is proved to do that ! So if I'm healthy and have no risk I must do it ! Resistance and weight training during pregnancy is totally fine and it has great benefits to mum and bub! Of course monitor the weight you are using and don't go for any pb's! Healthy & fit mum = quicker recovery and weight loss post bump. Eating healthy and exercising is setting bub up for a healthy life! So many women are told that they should rest and high intensity training is no good for the baby. The truth is if you are fit and healthy it isn't a problem.
