Here's Why You Shouldn't Freak Out If Your Business Is Failing Fast Most successful businesses adopt a scientific approach of test and measure. Last winter I put together a group of San Francisco Bay Area folks who wanted to climb 14,179-foot Mt. Shasta in California. Our intentions to take on a new challenge were good, but our timing was miserable. As we checked into the ranger station to get our permits, we were told that the mountain was essentially shut down, with blizzard conditions and 60 mph winds forecast the next several days. Of course we listened respectfully and an hour later were strapping on our crampons and headed up a mountain in near whiteout conditions.It was after sunset when we reached a flat snow field at 10,443 feet (halfway on the trek to the summit) and pitched our tents. Temperatures dropped and darkness brought a considerable increase in winds.
Inside our down bags, we were snug and warm, but the group's mood was a bit dour as we started to accept that the weather was unlikely to improve for our planned 4 a.m. start up the glacier. In all probability, there would be no summit attempt at all. A few in our group talked about the trip being a failure, then goodheartedly laughed it off and added, "Maybe next time." As the lanterns went out, I laid back in my sleeping bag (sleep comes slowly when you can hear the wind barreling down the mountain) and I thought about how little I was personally bothered by the fact that we weren't going to reach our goal the next day. I knew I wanted this as bad http://crwd.fr/2DjVM2S

How do you celebrate when you hit a BIG goal? 🎉🎉🎉 Just calculated the sales for this year already: $107 295 (SALES) * Full disclosure this is NOT cash in the bank but I will take it. *
What an incredible launch. I attracted THE best clients. 💰 I spent only $157.89 on Facebook ads.
I sent 6 emails. Did 6 social posts.
Holy friggin heck. I'm a bit blown away myself. 👉 I usually celebrate BEFORE I launch (we went to Signapore and stayed at my favourite hotel and toasted to a 6 figure launch). I know like I know like I know those goals will be hit.
I will show up, take action and BE the women who attracts the most incredible clients.
I say to myself when I am blocking clients "How can YOU show up as the women that people can't wait to work with?" This is how I did it: ✔️ Create a program that you FLIPPING LOVE ✔️ Do the research before you launch -I did interviews, focus groups and be certain that it is what your ideal client wants
✔️ Give high value, lots of love and support so your clients see results ✔️ Build your list from day 1. ✔️ create multiple price point packages strategically (80% of the clients worked with me in some other capacity before hence such a low cost)
✔️Stay persistent. Focus on the goal without freaking out. I kept saying "The right people will arrive in the right numbers at the right time" and "I am easily and effortlessly attracting my dream clients" . I leant back and trusted.
✔️ Look at the long game - 2 of the clients that purchased had been following me for A YEAR. Stay consistent. Reach out. Follow up. Build a relationship. BE human
✔️ALWAYS send those last emails. I made $15K off those last emails
✔️ Sell like your livelihood depends on it because it does (as Debb a previous client said)
✔️ Put value and your clients first
EEEEEEEK - I am closed off in 1:1 until August 2018 and have a client that has paid the deposit already for then. If you want to get on the waitlist before prices go up or be the first to know about the next round of Supercharge (to get early bird pricing + bonuses) PM me.
Looking forward to sharing something exciting coming soon.
Just now, when you were scrolling your Instagram feed, did you see an ad for the first time and think, “Oh! That random coach looks super smart, let me buy her group coaching program.”⠀
I'm 1000% certain your answer is NO!⠀
Why? It doesn’t happen like that.⠀
We don’t buy from “random people on the interwebs”.⠀
We buy from people and brands we know, love and trust.⠀
Building know, love and trust is the secret sauce that takes your audience from barely even aware of your existence, to raving loyal clients and customers.⠀
There are people that you follow, that you know what they do, but you don’t know a lot about them. You don’t have any real connection.⠀
Then, there are the people you know. You know what they do and you feel a real connection to them, yet you’ve never given them money?⠀
This is why ALL three parts of the process are important!⠀
Ready for the CliffNotes version?⠀
Build Know Love + Trust with your Tribe⠀
Know = Consistency⠀
Love = Connection⠀
Trust = Credibility⠀
Do all of this, and your tribe will trust you, follow you, and they’ll eventually buy from you.⠀
Which of these (Know, Love + Trust) comes easiest for you?⠀

There must be a point where you hit the fuck it button and go for it or else it will never happen because the fear will build up to much and it won’t be possible. So hit the butting as hard as you can and go for it #influencer#takeaction#opportunity#motivation
I don’t know about you, but I’m finding January hard. It’s dark when I leave for work in the morning and dark (or at least almost there) when I head home. The cold weather makes me want to curl up on the sofa, or in my bed all evening binge watching tv shows never too far away from a hot cup of tea and something to dunk!
Evenings like these are perfect for crafting. Something that’s enough to keep your hands busy, but not too much that you really have to concentrate which is why I am sharing @stitching_me_softly ’s crochet workshop. Bristol leader Emma is hosting a series of workshops at @milkteethportlandsq that will have you hooking away in in no time. Check out all the deets in her post below:

Good people of Bristol - if you fancy learning to crochet I have the perfect solution for you. I am running two different workshops in the wonderful @milkteethportlandsq - the first is on Sunday 4th Feb 4:30-7:30pm and is a one off introduction to crochet session, it will teach you the basic crochet stitches that form the basis of most projects - the second runs over three Sundays (11th, 18th and 25th) 4:30-7:30pm. This course will give you time to learn lots of different crochet stitches and allow you to create the beginnings of a blanket (or a finished blanket if you have fast fingers). Tickets to both are available through Eventbright - link in bio
