Love when we find Octopus in sushi! We had the Mexicana roll at Shiawase for Sunday lunch - made with Yellowtail, octopus, cilantro, jalapeño, and seared salmon, and we have to say it was somewhat disappointing. What we thought would be a delectable sushi roll was actually quite bland despite the jalepeno twist! Sad! We rate this a 4.3! #sad#sushi#calamari#octopus#sundaylunch#shiawase#chicago#chicagoeats

For dinner: #sashimi and hibachi, non-breaded #calamari (not pictured) and veggies (which i could barely eat because I was so full, leftovers ftw!) from a local japanese restaurant 🤤 also I ate three pieces of sashimi before remembering to take a pic, and then completely forgot to take a pic of my meal, whoops 😅
