I enjoyed reading this middle grade book aloud to my two daughters who are 7 and 3 years old. My 7 year old belly laughed throughout most of the book.
This book is easy to read, humorous and fun. It’s perfect for young girls. The main character is a young princess who doesn’t want to follow the path planned for her. She is sent on a quest to complete 8 good deeds and along the way she learns how she really can help others.
My daughter can’t wait for the rest of the books in the series to be released!
Working on some loose sketches for this week’s story — Hansel and Gretel. Can’t wait to draw the forest and witch’s house!
This week I was feeling really swamped, so I didn’t get as much work done for the #2018illustrationchallenge as I would have liked, but I know that some weeks are just going to be like that and I can’t put myself down every time I get busy!
After this, I’m working on two separate commissions this afternoon, wish me luck! 💫 Have a great weekend, everybody :)
🙏Ivy’s “little things jar”. Every time she does something kind for someone (without us asking) she gets a feather 🦉 Today she started by helping mummy folding the washing. ❤️#thelittlethings#thelittleowlbook
Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Social media seems be changing that definition as we know it. While I may be an introvert (ahem, until the third glass of wine 🍷 anyways), that all changes on social media. I may not be able to make decent small talk in the elevator, but I can interact (and enjoy it!) with strangers on social media 👩💻❤️. The truth is, we’ve loved getting to know the people in our community while we’re in pre-launch mode. You guys rock, and we can’t wait to share everything that’s to come with you. #otherlifelessons#comingsoon#childrensbooks#quote#janeausten#love#bookstagram

We loved the picture book Earth! My First 4.54 Billion years! I read it aloud to my two daughters who were fascinated with the illustrations. They really enjoyed the planets portrayed as “living beings” with faces and siblings.
I was impressed with the educational content. This book introduces scientific concepts in a light and fun manner that led us to further research. My 7-year old’s favorite part was the section on tectonic plates.
This book makes a great asset to any home, school and public library! 📚
