It's been a massive, exhausting but a truly amazing year for #TeamYellowtrace , so today we're signing off before we take a little beach-break. And what better way to do this than with @tadaocern's clever photography series 'Comfort Zone', which gives a little insight into how certain places can affect people's behaviour. Tadao says: “In our everyday life, we attempt to hide our deficiencies, both physical and psychological. However, once we find ourselves on a beach, we forget about everything and start acting in an absolutely different manner. Is that because everyone else around you is doing the same? This is so very true. Was off picking up a few things for Christmas and saw this card. You awaken when you step out of your comfort zone. Maybe your doing something you have never done before, and your scared. Maybe your preparing for a big run, but you have never done it before. Maybe you’re pushing play everyday, and are tired but like the results. Maybe you’re preparing for a big speech, and it’s your first one.
There will always be firsts, the unknowns, the feeling if fear or uncertainty...but know this, if you don’t step out and do something you’ve never done, how will you know what truly drives you?

As we draw near the end of the year ⏰ it's a good time to reflect on it. Were you happy with how the year went? What can you do this year to make it better? Looking back, I saw a pattern in myself last year... - You see, I like to think of myself as "spontaneous" ...you know...I like to fly by the seat of my pants LOL but looking back I see so MANY times when I paid the price for not being organized. Everything from missing flights, ✈️ having to pay more money because I didn't plan 💸 , or having a disaster happen that could've been avoided. 😕 - That's definitely why I'm working on now, being more of "planner" now. Questa foto è stata scattata la settimana scorso in palestra e tralasciando il reggiseno sportivo che mamma mia mi potrebbe far fare tranquillamente la parte maschile in qualsiasi film, ne approfitto nel pubblicarla per dire solo una cosa: sono felice.
Impegnatissima , raffreddata e ancora mezza malata ma felice. Mi guardo allo specchio e mi vedo oggettivamente più "grossa" di prima , come è giusto e normale che sia (se no per quale motivo mi sarei iscritta in palestra) eppure mi piaccio. Mi piaccio molto di più ora che nei periodi in cui ero magra magra, mi piaccio più ora che mentre faccio la coda vedo spuntare una certa spalluccia, che posso alzare con meno fatica oggetti anche di un certo peso, che non mi ritrovo spianata a terra o con le orecchie tappate dopo aver fatto alcune rampe di scale, che mi ritrovo a ballare alla mattina (quando mai?!?!) segno di come il mio corpo abbia energia e come io mi senta molto più self confident nel muoverlo anche se sono da sola per il solo gusto di farlo. Sembrano piccole cose ma ve lo giuro che non lo sono. Adoro non avere più quel certo senso di fame a cui DEVO resistere e il mio segreto sapete qual' è? che semplicemente se ho fame mangio, semplicemente ascolto di più il mio corpo che se quel giorno mi chiede un po' di più non vuol dire che sta perdendo i colpi o che sta impazzendo semplicemente magari senza accorgecene abbiamo consumato di più oppure involontariamente ad un pasto mangiato un po' di meno. Non sono tutte sempre rose e fiori eppure vedendo che questi sforzi pian piano stanno portando a qualcosa diventa pian piano un pochino più semplice avere fiducia che questa sia la giusta strada. La "cena" di stasera non sapete neanche che vittoria rappresenti per me dove un tempo mangiare anche solo una galletta era fuori discussione , una cena puramente
fatta du carboidrati e fatta solamente per coccolarmi un po'. Chiediamo così tanto a noi stessi ma molte volte quando poi tesideriamo qualcosa partono i sensi di colpa e le vocine che dicono "dovresti far questo... Non dovresti far quest'altro e bla bla bla ".⤵

So since I hit my 8 stone award I've got to that 'comfortable' stage and I'm now fully in my comfort zone and going nowhere fast. I can buy clothes from any shop I wish, I'm feeling comfortable in my own skin and I'm 100% more confident than I was 2 years ago! This stage is so dangerous because i know this isn't where I want my journey to peak.....I still have at least another 2 and a half stone to go! December has been an #onplanwhenican month and so far Iv managed to stick to my 8 stone loss which I'm chuffed about! BUT I'm scared this 'comfy' feeing is going to continue into January! So.....I need to challenge myself. I lose on average 3 stone per year so I'm challenging myself to get my 9 stone award for my sisters wedding on 10th March as well as dedicating more time to fitness classes! Now, I already do a few classes per week but I really want to up this so I'm doing something every day....even if it is just a brisk walk or trying a new gym class!
