Push yourself out of your comfort zone - that applies not only to the gym but in general to life. We hold ourselves back for so many different reasons. Don’t be afraid to push yourself out of your comfort zone because that’s when growth happens. Get out there and get comfortable with the uncomfortable. You’ll probably surprise yourself too!
Tonight was one of those mental workouts for sure where you just have to go to that place and tune out all thoughts, self-doubt, and everything around you and just get through the workout. I knew I was really going to have to work for that 15 cal row every round lol, but I did it. And at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if you Rx or scale - if you’re challenging yourself and giving it your best effort, You’re doing it right and that’s commendable 💪🏻💪🏻 @crossfit_factory_square @fourtyeighty #crossfitfactorysquare#fourtyeighty#programmingbyjon#longmetcon#metcon#metconrowing#wod#workoutoftheday#crossfit#crossfitchicks#comfortzone#pushyourlimits
We had an amazing #Facebook event last night to launch three new #skincare products.
I added #skincare and #fitness#coaching because I wanted more time with my family. I was working six days a week. Putting together my new business, which encompasses inspiring health, wellness, and confidence inside and out, has given me more time to do things that I find to be rewarding. If this speaks to you, and you want to join me on either of these paths, send me a DM. There’s no better time to be your own boss, and inspiring others is an added bonus!
When you are claiming your space in the front-row of your life and minding your business, your inner resolve needs to be strong and ready to go to war with limiting beliefs, naysayers, and saboteurs.
Being in the front row of your life means and looks like:
Fearlessly calling out what you want most in your life and going after it. Write down or record yourself stating the things you want in your life this week and for the rest of the month. Be clear and detailed about your desires. Don’t hold back.
Resisting the comfort of staying put. Making changes is difficult – let’s just put that other there - especially when we are close to ending this calendar year. But, if the changes are going to ignite your passion, joy, and boldness – you need to get going. Send comfort on vacation and get to work on your detailed list of desires. Go to a workshop or hire a coach that will support you. Update your vision board and schedule some dedicated time on your calendar.
Owning your quirks, talents, and unique qualities unapologetically. Being in the front row of your life and minding your business may feel uncomfortable because you may feel you haven’t earned it. Throw that thinking out. Being who you are is a gift and it is fine that you are not like other people. Look at your quirks, talents, and unique qualities – and link them to your desires. Map these personalized gifts into your plan of sitting in your front row.
I’ve had this book for a while, but I’ve just started reading it recently and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It took a minute for me to pick it up because I was being judgey-that’s a word in my personal dictionary; judgmental for you judgey language folks. I didn’t understand what my TV writing auntie had to say “yes” to because her life is amaze balls from the outside in. What I’ve learned is that EVERYONE has a comfort zone to step outside of and that EVERYONE has days when they don’t feel like the social media version of themselves. A big shout out to Shonda Rhimes for stepping out of her comfort zone and inspiring me to do the same.

🎬🎶If you ever have the opportunity to see this talented man live, just do it! Trust me!❤️Our company brought him to our LIVE event last week where he performed with his orchestra 🎶and choir the music he composed from movies we all know. Gladiator, Madagascar, Batman The Dark Knight (I got goosebumps), the Lion King (one of my favs), Pirates of the Caribbean and More! 🎬But what struck me the most was the humility of this genius. He has been writing musical scores in the studio for 40 yrs and shared how biggest fear was to play and speak in public. Someone told him you need to face your fears, 😧and so here he was blessing us all with his beautiful, moving music that spoke to everyone regardless of the language barriers. He said that, yes he writes the music but then once he has it he shows the musicians the path, and sets them free to work their passion into the music resulting in the beautiful moving masterpieces we got to hear. And I thought, that is just like what we do with our business. We start our business, then begin to build our team, around the world, despite different cultures and language we show them the path and empower each one to use their creativity and passion to improve their lives and the lives of others with our products and opportunities. So many parallels. Scroll down on my news feed both here on IG and more on FB to see my live videos from this magical evening with Hans Zimmer😘🎬 I would love to share our path with you! ❤️ #passion#empowerment#music#orchestra#musicalscores#movies#humility#grateful#leader#composer#oscars#parallels#path#create#makeadifference#growth#comfortzone @fountainofyouthbrand @liveyourstandard
I think a lot of people really underestimate, or don't quite grasp the power of CONSISTENCY.
You can't just do something once, and expect it to bring you massive shifts and results
And you can't be perturbed at 'how long' it may take either.
Who cares?! Do you want it or not?
Do it every day however, and the universe has no choice but to give it to you
It doesn't care whether or not you 'feel' like doing it. It will just respond to who you are being and what you're doing 👑
