Tonight I danced for 45mins!! I've been struggling quite badly with feeling motivated lately and it's bumming me out because I don't remember it being as difficult last summer.
So I went back to what I love, dancing!
I actually had to tear myself away because I had work to do and that itself is a great feeling.
Dancing truly is my soulmate workout and its so nice to turn to something I love when I'm lacking motivation.
My online workout library gives me the freedom to choose an alternative work out to make sire I am active. I'm extremely grateful for it tonight!
Tonight I really felt that end of summer slip... sigh. I don't want it to end! However I will enjoy being back in a routine and meal planning and such... do you think you'll need help getting back on track in September? Workday lunch - GF bagel with turkey + salami, a pear + apple on the side. Came home to my boyfriend + managed half a country heat workout but my head was pounding I had to stop. 4th migraine this month + my new meds barely touched it. Migraines are no joke.
Back to workout mode!
Decided to do a bit of a hybrid workout for the next couple of weeks....combining Country Heat, Core de Force, and Turbo Fire.
Started this morning with off with "Bring the Heat"🔥🔥🔥
Super leftover salad on the front porch while my child sleeps... and I watch for the Eclipse!
Today: a little romaine, feta, grilled chicken, pepitas and leftover corn, cherry tomato & cucumber salad with honey mustard vinaigrette... and let's not forget those @latejulyorganic ranch chips! Awesome!
Summer has done havoc on my nutrition and fitness. So today I start 15 days of nutrition overhaul and 5 weeks of country heat. I will regain control of my health again! #cleanse#countryheat#regaincontrol

A long action packed weekend lead to a very good night sleep last night... for everyone. Started today with "Get Centered" with @elisejoanfitness and it was perfect! Time to conquer the to-do list!
A double workout to start my first day back on day shift in almost a year 😍 (sidemote: Snapchat went stupid and removed all the other little stickers besides those that have to do with the stupid eclipse 🙄)

I've been spending so much time focusing on what I CANT do with this shoulder injury that I haven't even been doing the things I CAN do. .
Today I did Cardio Roundup from Country Heat after a little pep talk with @tbender79 the other day and @courtney_lynn_sams last night. Even though I had to pause multiple times because Piper is inexplicably throwing up today, and I had to modify some things because of my shoulder it's DONE! It was far from perfect, but it's done. .
I turn 30 on October 6th and my resolution this year was to turn 30 in better shape than I was when I turned 20. I'm aware my body will look different than it did when I turned 20 😂 but I'm measuring this in strength, how I feel, what I'm putting into my body...I may have let this shoulder injury sideline me but I'm BACK, and I still have time to reach the goals I set for myself for my 30th birthday!
I need help to holding me accountable. Help me remember DONE IS BETTER THAN PERFECT!! I'll be trying out a bunch of different workouts to see which ones work best with my injury, and making note of them so I can come back to them, and I'm also going to be following intermittent fasting and carb cycling for my nutrition. .
I'm looking for 5 women who may have been sidelined for any number of reasons who are interested in getting back in action with me. We will find a plan for you, we will motivate and encourage each other, and we will get results!!
