When life gives you guipils...you make bags!
So stoked to finally have finished this baby! Just in time for Panama too :) all hand sewn and from used materials
The strap is from a used 'cinta' which is a head adornment used by Mayan women in Guatemala,
The pink guipil I couldn't go without as I hadn't seen anything in this beautiful bright colour around.
I spent ages agonizing over this guipil "will it fit in my bag...f&#k it just get it...but will I use it?? but its bright pink, but will it fit in my bag? and it's pink..." "Just get it..." I said. So I did. It barely fit with my stuff 😅 but im so happy I ended up getting it.. and not to mention the mountain of beautiful cintas with rad pom poms
God bless Guatemala and its infinite beauty of textiles ✌❤
p.s excuse my weird vampire/ghostly like arm 🙊

Have I mentioned how #grateful we are for this amazing backyard farm that our landlord has? That he shares with us daily?!? Here's what today brought to our doorstep!
I'm so glad we had to move. Did you know that for years, I tried to learn to make a garden like the one here? And I started to succeed but then things got so hard with Kai and it just wasn't a priority. But I still daydreamed and knew I was meant to have a greenhouse in my backyard. But I also knew I couldn't tend to it.
I'm not the woo-wooest but I think I'm starting to believe in this whole manifesting thing.
