Lastly here are some views from inside the #Wondertower itself. These little rooms used to be completely packed full floor to ceiling with curios, wish I could have seen it that way. But these empty rooms are still so beautiful.
Interior shots from my visit to the #wondertower most of these shots are from "The Colorado Room", which they used as a concert venue and dance hall!! It is so small and strange for a supposed dance hall, you couldn't fit more than perhaps 20 people in the room. But I guess most of the dancing happened outside on the roof. The stage and walls had a disorienting angles and is built out of rocks, pine and concrete. The room contained a player piano, taxidermy that has seen better days, a fireplace in the shape of a tree, hand painted scenic landscapes, eclectic furniture and items tucked into cubbies in the walls. There are also a few shots of the entrance area (cash register, postcards).
In our extensive Sunday morning fidget spinner timing experimentation, Emmett and I have determined that a fidget spinner unimpeded once it gets going will spin about 49 seconds longer if you hold it flat versus if you hold it up and down (as pictured). Timing by Emmett with iPhone stopwatch. Spinning by Mommy. #emmettjames#fidgetspinner#everydayscience#curiosity#letsfindout
