Nothing goes better with ribs than some waffle fries and a whole lotta BBQ sauce 👌🏼
We may be in #newyork but Fletcher's sure knows how to do BBQ! These ribs were so tender and tasty, I'll definitely be going back for more 💯😁
The little note at the start of the meal and the yosegi box with beautiful wood marquetry at the end, sum up the dinner perfectly. It explains how chef @ivanbrehm returns to the basic of what "restaurant" means, by revisiting familiar taste, yet with a modern twist.
Cheddar And Sour Cream Cheese Bites
Yields 50 Balls.
Here's what you will need:
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1/8 cup green onion, finely chopped
1/8 cup dill, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
Juice from half a lemon
1 9oz Box of Triscuits
In a food processor, or by hand, crush 1/2 a box of Triscuits. Set aside.
Combine all of the filling ingredients in a large bowl. Pinch off bite sized balls of filling and roll between your hands (about 1 oz each). Roll the balls in the crushed Triscuit mixture, then coat it in beaten egg, then again in Triscuit mixture.
Heat a sauce pan of vegetable oil to 350˚F. Line a tray with paper towel to drain the fried bites. Fry each bite until Triscuit coating turns a light brown, about 45 seconds. If they’re fried too long, the cheese filling will escape and you’ll be left with a sad shell of a former cheese bite.
Garnish with more chopped dill and a squeeze of lemon. Serve immediately.
