ARCO by Achille Castiglioni for Flos
The main concept of this lamp is its versatility and practicality, it is born from the idea of having a "light" spot actually suspended above the place of interest which can be a table or a desk or book without having to be bound to a suspension system, and therefore without having to be conditioned by a fixed point. In fact, the Arco lamp, thanks to its structure that makes it possible to use the space below it, comes directly with the light spot on the desired location, just like it is a chandelier, but unlike the latter it can be carried; It is equipped with a circular cross section hole made in the marble base, which allows, simply inserting a stick, such as the handle of a broom, to easily move the lamp from the other side; It was therefore more thought out for business, such as restaurants, rather than as a home or office decor.
Here, another veeeery quick sketch, for today! (Like seriously, it took me less than 30 minutes..... so, sorry for the bad lineart quality.)
These two... I am actually not sure anyone here would remember them! Raise your hand if you do, Honey.
But anyway! These are my two little spiders. Placebo (left) and Hijiri (right) ~ ! Maybe some of you would remember Hijiri, that I used to draw way more than his brother! Sweet time, when I only started to publish myself on Instagram..
Both of them now have one more visible pair of eyes.
To be honest... Both of them, used to be very shy, about all of their eyes. So, they had tendancies to hide them, by closing them all of the time.
Nowadays, they feel way more confident, and don't hesitate to show them at all.
Hijiri and Placebo are related to Araki and Akira as well: They are their half-brothers.
Both, are The Snake's sons, too. (And before anyone asks: He got them with a spider! Hence why Hijiri has odd shaped eyes, all over his face.)
So, yes, The Snake has 4 children. And these two are actually the oldest.
I shall one day to a collage, with this whole family, so that you could clearly understand the relations between my characters. ❤
