It's okay to choose life!
To say I want to know what it's like to live.
I know what it's like to be afraid, still do.
I know what it's like to feel lost.
I've associated emotions with food for what one could say feels like my entire life. If I was sad I'd eat. If I was happy I'd eat. If I was stressed I would eat even more.
I am learning to feel emotions for what they are and dealing with difficult things differently.
I choose to put my journey out there for the world, in hopes that someone who feels like they can't do it will choose to fight.
I do it as an indicator that although life can hit you, one should never give up.
There is beauty everywhere including within yourself, choose life and change what you can control for the better! 💚

FATIGUED. I NEED PIZZA. Last heavy deadlift and bench done today. Bench was a paused PR at 55kg I'll take it but still moved a little slower than I would have liked. Then deadlifts... not sure what was uglier me in a singlet or the rep not an idea rep at 117.5kg but it moved which was an improvement from last week. De-load is muccch needed so is sleep and pizza. But mostly I just need pizza. So excited for my off season, between my start and stop bikini prep and cutting weight for the meet I've been in some sort of diet for 7 months now...my body needs a break and I just need pizza 🍕

Give This Kettle Bell Tricep Exercise a Try🔥🔥
I would recommend working this in instead of dumbbell overhead extensions to switch things up.
I overlap my hands over the kettle bell handle so both hands fit. You can alternate which hand is on top every other set to prevent developing a more dominant tricep on one side.

On Wednesday I started a 3 day shake cleanse. After all the delicious, yet unhealthy food in New Orleans, my body needed to detox. This shake cleanse consisted of 3 shakes a day (although I only did 2), 2 cups of green tea a day, 8 cups of water a day, 2 servings of fruit a day, and for dinner a big fresh salad with 4 oz of white meat protein. Thursday was a bit different because I walked a trail that totaled 5.4 miles. Since I burned a good amount of calories, I cheated a little and had a slice of pizza for lunch 😕
From these three days I lost 4 lbs, but it wasn't about the weight I lost. It was the inches! I lost 4 inches off my waist, 1.5 inches off my hips, and an inch off my chest. A total of 6.5 inches in 3 days! I had to triple check my measurements because I couldn't believe it!
Today is a new day and I'm starting a new workout program. I'm beyond excited to get back to it, full force. Especially after Summit, my determination is on point. I don't want to lose this.
