Deciding to be yourself can be a huge step for some, I know it was for me. I was that kid that was always picked last, the butt of everyone's joke, especially for my size. It took many years to be able to say THIS IS ME!!!!!! and be confident in who I am. Honestly some days it is easier than others.
Confidence is beautiful!!!!!
This weekend we are celebrating a marriage, and tomorrow is the big day! I am so thankful for every family member I have gained from my own marriage. God is so good!
This skirt was made from, of course, my old curtains! Unfortunately, this fabric was not made to be worn, and this may be the last time I can wear it. 😢 But, I love being able to create! 📸: @jeffcrews
Crazy hair, don't care 💁🏻 Making super progress on my #adirondackpackbasket today with my first time ever working with leather rivets! It's a satisfying feeling having the punch sink into the leather (in a totally not creepy and serial killer kind of way)... I just need to finish punching the buckle holes on the back and I'm finished! 🎒🎒🎒

I'm paying with ColourCure again. Check out the new color I made!
I'm obsessed with the ease and versitity of our Newest product!!! Goes on easy and removes like a lacquer (Absolutely No damage!) but sets hard in 90 seconds (both hands at Once!) With our new light.
Wanna try it too?
I love utility style jackets and vests after almost purchasing some I decided to make my own because it actually fits my tall torso. This pink fits with my blue/gray/white wardrobe perfectly. I love love love this vest.
I'm so proud of how little I had to spend on this project. I already had the @closetcase.patterns #kellyanorak and have already fitted it. I had remnants of this pink #tencel fabric from @apcfabrics so I strategically cut it out. I used fabric remnants for interfacing and made a fabric drawstring. I omitted a zipper so I wouldn't have to buy it and so the front would drape well. The only thing I had to buy was @dritz_sewing pearl snaps.
We're still in summer mode here in the ClothSpot workroom. This week we have wild-dyed Indonesian cotton poplin for those of you who like to stand out in a crowd - and for the classicists among you, a beautifully-draping crepe and a navy floral lawn - all at http://ow.ly/wgst30evS0Z It's never too late for a last-minute summer top or frock....is it?
