I started my journey to health on March 17th. As of today, I'm down 29 pounds. It is about so much more than weight to me. I've lost and gained weight before. It is about health and being a good example for my daughter. I feel amazing! I'm trying new things like Barre and Pilates classes that I would have never tried before. More importantly, I'm able to be active with my daughter and husband. My daughter even says "exercising is fun!"
I knew I had to make a change when I started planning my daughter's 3rd birthday party. I realized I was still holding onto 34 pounds of baby weight. My baby wasn't a baby anymore so that excuse had run thin! I had success with Scott when I lived in OKC. I contacted him and he was so supportive. He made a meal plan for me and we planned our check ins. For me losing weight is about being mentally prepared and planning. Being accountable to him definitely kept me on track. Being a busy working Mom, I didn't always make my cardio goals. He walked me through options and didn't criticize. I found ways to squeeze in activity wherever I could.
Thank you to Scott for helping me on my journey. I really appreciate all of his amazing support and willingness to answer questions. My awesome husband, who is the cook in our house, was amazing to cook healthy meals. He is my biggest cheerleader and loves me through every step of my journey. I used things like Metabolic Meals, Plexus, Diet Bet, and a women's Facebook group to provide an extra boost and accountability.
