Woo hoo, 5 minutes under deadline for the day and done! I slipped on a couple lines so had to make some corrections on how smooth the line work is, but overall I love my deep sea creepy cutie! Day 20, "Deep"
These past few weeks I've been focused on making straight lines. I thought I'd do something different and try drawing flowers. I found a tutorial of some online. Here's one of them. It's supposed to be a gothic rose 🌹. Sometime soon I'll start coloring in my drawings. It'll make things look a lot better.
Until tomorrow - Altis #AltisOctober2017
This is famously called the dragon blood tree due to the red sap that it produces. It’s native to the Socotra archipelago, located in the Arabian Sea. The ancient people used the red sap which they believe to be dragon’s blood in ritual magic and alchemy. | I hope my sketch did justice to this fascinating tree. 🐉🌳
Such a furious storm of chaos on the inside and calm on the outside. Decisions, mistakes, misunderstandings, anxiety, depression, overthinking, over analysing unnecessary questions, pent up anger, emotions, so many things unsaid, some guilt, sorrow, remorse, regret,so many many many other things that aren't even describable, everything inside the head, yes it's furiously chaotic inside, yes it's deadly calm on the outside.
#Inktober Day 20: Deep [[‘It cuts deep’]] A sequel to yesterday's piece I guess? Both women afraid to reveal parts of themselves. I wanted to do better but my skills and motivation keep fluctuating. Almost at the end though. Just a little bit longer 😭
P.s. diamond shaped nipples cause why not.
