If you find yourself in Raleigh, don’t miss out on @crawfordnson. Thoughtful, precise, and warm cooking from one of our favorite chefs in the South: @chefscottcrawford. Don’t miss the octopus or the apple and turnip salad. But really you can’t go wrong.
One of the BEST white pizzas I've EVER HAD! WOW! Swung through Snap Pizza on a whim while looking for some lunch to bring to Rittenhouse Square - was looking for a little autumnal lunch al fresco - and this pizza hit a home run! 🍕Also, I don't think I can never NOT have herbed butter on a pizza again. Hot DAMN! #dailypizza
Perfect timing for the excellent new Fall menu from @fuku #FukuWallSt , including one of the best healthy green salads I’ve had (not so healthy but delicious fried chicken bites on top are optional)
Because I once read in a book somewhere that eating spicy, sweat-inducing foods actually makes you feel cooler (literally and figuratively), here's a Quinoa Chicken Curry Bowl to help beat this October heat. It's loaded with braised chicken, eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, ginger and garam masala... and topped with brown rice, crushed almonds and cilantro. No butter. No cream. It's Indian food with less attitude [bonus: my kids love it].
It feels like the week before Christmas... well almost! All you very lucky creatures better make sure that you pass by and sample our @mac_not_crack x @thepiadinaproject collab for the @kerbfood 5th birthday party this VERY Friday! “THE MACADINA” is taking one of our signature piadina, filling it with drizzles of HP brown sauce, butterflied Lincolnshire sausage, crisped streaky bacon, pea shoots & finally adding in for good measure Anna Mae’s legendary mac ‘n’ cheese... I mean what’s not to love ppl! 🧀🥓🌮🎂🍻🎁🎈🤤
The original Chicago style Cheesesteak in all its greasy, gut-bombin' glory. Though this location claims to be the original it's not. That was in Highwood (1966). Then they opened a 2nd location in Lincoln Park which is how I became familiar with it. Both of those locations are long gone but this one up in Waukegan remains and the sandwich remains the same. Chopped steak, melted American cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Mayo, and their signature oil which is without a doubt what makes this sandwich so addicting. Not as well known are their sliders (2) but they should be, as they're as good as all the old slider spots I've visited elsewhere. This isn't a "foodie" destination and that's ok bc I'm not a "foodie" - I'm a Chicagoan that likes to explore and I do so through food. #ChicagoHistory

All I see are big food mags throwin' up photos of pasta that are CLEARLY garnished with canned parm & IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Don't fight me on this. Shhhh... There's no room for your snobby 'pinions outchea. #makepastaorbronzedietryin
Streuselzeit! Ganz neu sogar!
I'm stoked to announce that my new show the FoCo Food Flow will be airing around noon every Tuesday and Thursday (on KRFC 88.9 fm) starting next week!
The show will be a 5 minute blast of random food talk that I hope will be deliciously entertaining and informative!
(why the storm trooper mask? Just to get your attention😉)
