Their cruffins flavor always changes everyday and please be sure to buy the matcha croissant 🥐 as well!!!! Plus it is instagram worthy 👍! .

Culinary personality Gil Hovav grew up in a famous family in Jerusalem. He’s the great grandson of Eliezer Ben Yehudah, the father of modern Hebrew, and his parents were noted radio journalists when he was a child. But the food on their table was always simple. @gilhovavisrael jokingly called it “jail food.” Dishes like chicken wings in a Tunisian hot and sour sauce and okra with rice or beans were cooked by his grandmother who he called Mooma. They were dishes from Israel’s era of austerity, a period in the state’s early days when nothing, not even the white pith of pomelos, was to be wasted. These candies, born out of that time, are greater than the sum of the recipe’s ingredients. They’re like an “all natural marshmallow...with juices that ooze out,” when you bite into them, Gil explains. They make a perfect holiday gift for friends — or yourself. ✨
