Well this is interesting! A @chipsahoy chocolate bar?! Barritas! This bar seemed very appealing from the outside. The inside not so much. 🤷🏽♀️ it was just bland. It was basically a chips a hoy cookie with some chocolate on it. The chocolate could have been on the whole thing not sure why they left 1/4 of it not covered. Also, it wasn’t the best chocolate ever... it could have been more rich and luxurious probably would have made the whole bar taste better. As for the cookie it was a little on the dry but not too bad. The chocolate could have helped with that if it was creamy. They should have tried to make this more soft and moist vs dry and bland. 😢 super sad about this. Nothing to rave about. 6/10!

Delicious paleo chocolate chip cookies.🍪🍪🍪🍪
One of the welcome snacks I made for our NYE food and yoga retreat.
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup coconut flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
6 tablespoons of butter (or coconut oil)
3/4 cup coconut sugar
6 tablespoons of almond butter 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 packs of 70% chocolate (300g)
Preheat oven to 180deg Celsius
In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients except the chocolate and mix well till dough is formed, its best to use your hands here to bring everything together.
Once dough is formed, roughly chop or break chocolate (I usually just smash it with a rolling pin still in its wrapper)
Add it to your dough and mix well.
Leave in fridge for 20 mins.
After 20 mins line a baking tray and roll your cookies into balls placing them on your tray.
Once balls are formed gentle press down with back of spoon or hand.
Bake for 10-15 mins until golden.
Let cool and enjoy preferably with cupán tae
