I have had a very normal Monday. School, some homework, a workout and a walk with Neo🤗 My workout tonight was short but effective upper body’s strength session at the gym💪🏼
Oh there was something special in this Monday: we got first snow here in Finland😍❄️
Happy chrysanthemonday! Made this sweet potato turmeric smoothie bowl to match these gorgeous autumnal mums. I used a roasted Japanese sweet potato instead of an orange sweet potato and I love how it let the color of the turmeric really take over the whole bowl. 💛🌼
- 1/2 a medium sweet potato (any kind)
- 1 raw carrot (I get the tricolored ones from Trader Joe’s, they’re the same price and way prettier to cut into)
- 1 scoop @alohamoment vanilla protein powder
- 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen
- 8-12oz almond milk (made my own this time💪🏽)
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1 tsp turmeric
- dash of cinnamon
- dash of black pepper (to increase the bioavailability of the curcumin in the turmeric)
- my fave @wholeme cinnamon banana chip grain free granola
- coconut shreds
- chia seeds
- cacao nibs
- dried mulberries
(Yes, I ate all of this. Yes, I do wish I had slowed down bc I’m SO FULL I’m gonna burst lol. No, I don’t have any regrets)
Cereal, yogurt and berries for a pre bed snack 😛😛 these honey puffed wheats are amazing for volume!! My whole body aches from a tough few days training so all the carbs, sleep and rest before training tomorrow afternoon 🏋🏼♀️ Night ✨
Kind of doing a chuck-it-all-on-a-plate-and-hope-for-the best thing for dinner tonight ☺️.
If you think you are too busy to eat well and nourish yourself then that's when it's even more important to EAT WELL AND NOURISH YOURSELF.
👆🏻This plate of goodness is my go-to meal when life is busy and i only want to spend 5 minutes in the kitchen.
LENTIL AND FETA SALAD WITH WALNUTS AND RAISINS:
1. Heat a frying pan with a little olive oil.
2. Add in 1 grated carrot and 2 large handfuls of spinach.
3. Drain 1 can of lentils and add to the pan to heat through.
4. Take pan off the heat and stir through 1tbsp honey, 1tbsp dijon mustard and a squeeze of lemon juice.
5. Empty onto a plate and top with raisins, feta and walnuts 🥕🌱👌🏻. #fearfreefood#nourishyourself#gentlenutrition

EAT BIG TO GET BIG 🍔 🍟 !!! Burgers are defiantly my weakness 🤤🤤. Trying to throw some size on real quick. Trying to push that scale to 240 🙊 at times I’m real hard on myself about my nutrition and I will literally cut out everything if it isn’t chicken and rice. Right now I’m not getting ready for a show to be quiet honest I’m not happy with the physique I have. I want more. More size. I fear to shred and look “too small” on stage. So I will do everything I can to keep on good quality size. Even if that includes burgers 🙄 shout to @5guysburgers best neighbors to have at work 😂. Always remember to enjoy the little things too. Sometimes you just take a step back and look at all the things you do have. I admit I’ve been living in a negative mindset lately. Then I realized I can’t dwell on things that I can’t change. So why stress on it? So I’m very thankful. Being able to work, having a family, a beautiful girlfriend, able to train everyday, a bed to sleep in. I have plenty. ➡️For all my new followers👋🏼 I decided a week ago to come off the pill🙅🏼 It was something I had been considering for a long time but never knew enough about. But after lots of research I found it can impact your fertility, cause depression, affect your mood as well as affect your performance and muscle growth. But for me, I was most concered by the fact I was putting synthetic hormones in my body everyday which I felt could have been causing anxiety and affecting my mood as well as my skin.😠
➡️So, its now been one week since I stopped taking it and I feel ALOT happier.🤗My mood is so much better, I'm no longer feeling so sorry for myself all the time 😞and instead feel much more motivated and uplifted.😅It should also currently be 'my time of the month' and although I don't actually have a period, I usually have one week where I'm slightly CRAY CRAY😈 but so far so good!💃🏼
➡️As I said in my last post, in the first few days I was very bloated but that has now passed and I'm back to normal.🙌🏼I have however noticed I've lost my appetitie slightly, I'm eating the exact same amount as before but it's been a struggle eating all my meals!😩 But just going to grind through it because.. Gainz💪🏼
➡️Other than that, there hasn't been any other changes.. My skin is still fairly bad and hasn't changed much at all but hopefully that's something that will improve soon.🙏🏼
