On the topic of styling laziness: if I'm to continue photographing my dinner straight out of the oven, without so much as a decorative trident fork, I should probably, at a minimum, invest in a nicer oven tray.
Here’s a place that I’ve been meaning to try for a while and honestly regret not going sooner — @GreenChileRestaurant (La Habra location). Let me just tell you about their Green Chile Fries.... 💣! I would go back again and again just for these fries alone. Aside from the great food, the owner took the time out of her busy night to talk with us and get to know us. I love making personal connections with people, it means so much to me. Do yourselves a favor and check out one of her locations! I’ll be back for the burger!! 👏🏻

Pizza is always a good idea 💡 I loosely follow a Paleo lifestyle and feel my best when i eat a diet low in carb.. my energy is high and my blood sugars are stable ☝🏼 but I’m also not a robot and know that realistically being strict with a diet does not work for me. Roasted brussel sprouts with maple pomegranate reduction is the perfect side dish this holiday season🍁
Roast 1 1/2 lbs of halved brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, & pepper for 30-35 minutes. While brussel sprouts are in the oven combine 1/3 dorset maple reserve maple syrup with 1 cup of pomegranate juice in a sauce pan on med/low heat. Reduce down until you can easily coat a spoon. Remove from heat (do not refrigerate)
Drizzle over roasted brussel sprouts and garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds.

who else meal prepped today? the key to a good week is to have all your food prepared beforehand so that when you feel hungry you can reach for a healthy snack instead of grabbing something “fast” & likely unhealthy. 😉 I prepped some of my fav veggies plus eggs, turkey burgers and chicken
some of my tips for meal prepping are to plan ahead. make sure you have a list of meals you will have for the week. make a list of ingredients for these meals! this not only saves time at the store but also limits waste. carve out a few hours on sunday (or on one particular day) to prep all the foods you plan to make for the week. clean your dishes as you go. this helps keep your task to a few hours and leaves more space for you to work. what are you meal prepping today? #happyhealthyhumble#21dayfix
