Never underestimate the number of exercises you can perform with 1 piece of equipment. For instance, with this tire you can get a total body workout (squats, jumps, flips, push ups, plank, hops, etc). Do you only have 1 set of dumbbells at home? 1 Kettlebell? Stairs? Get creative on those days you can't come into the gym with the equipment you have at your house! #strongshopfitness#strongshoplex#trysomethingnew#fitness#exercise#workout

Transformation from when I lived an unhealthy lifestyle.
The first picture I had been immobile for a year after badly breaking my leg. I had to take copious amounts of painkillers throughout this year ranging from Oramorph, tramadol & codeine. Eating a high sugar, dairy & fat diet with no exercise. I put on 2 stone in 1 yr & 2 months. I lost a lot of hair over this year from stress & the drugs I had to take. At one point my leg wasn't healing & we thought I wasn't going to walk properly again. This first picture was taken 2 days before I went travelling. I was still in some pain & limping a bit when I was tired but set off to Thailand anyway. Pushing myself each day to be more active, climb mountains, swim in the sea & go rock climbing! .
Australia opened my eyes to a healthy lifestyle & lots of different & exciting foods. I started to learn about a vegan diet & nutrition. I took up yoga and walked everywhere exploring!
When I got back to the UK I took up a vegan challenge after learning a lot about the dairy & meat industry. I felt so healthy & strong eating a vegan diet.
It's been over 1.5 yrs now since being on a fully vegan diet and I have never felt better. My concentration is better, I have lots more energy, I feel & look younger (first pic I am 30, second picture I am 33), my skin & hair are clearer & stronger.
I've posted a before & after picture to show you the difference in diet & light exercise, but its not about how I look, its about how I feel inside (but I can't show you that, I can just tell you) .
Everyone has it in them to become fit, healthy & get out of a bad routine.

💣This burrata bomb from @deardelicious looked absolutely amazing. This was quite the refreshing meal. See that what thing in the centre? That's actually burrata, which is an italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outside is solid, kinda like a cheese poached egg and the inside is creamy, so you can pop it like a poached egg too. It's also served with house elderflower balsamic, beetroot, salmon confit, pickled baby fennel, citrus segments and I added some goats cheese aswell 👌🏻👌🏻. Definitely a beautiful sight and such an amazing taste and texture! I always wonder... how do people come up with such things? 😂😂
I'm tired, it's Tuesday, I can't find my good sneakers, my favorite sports bra is dirty, I overslept, the kids didn't nap... Sound familiar? Work around your issues & GET.IT.DONE. You'll feel better after you get your workout in!
Lunch to-go again. This is a salad with chicken breast & butternut squash. Calories do matter. This lunch is about 350 calories, is very filling & has lots of vitamins & antioxidants (but we'll not pay attention to that part today - just the calories). Basically a calorie is a unit of energy. So this lunch gives me 350 units of energy to use. That's about right for me since I eat 6 meals a day. This will provide a nice slow burn until my next meal. To compare, say you eat a sandwich. That's about 500 calories (I did a rough estimate of a chicken sandwich), but do you really need 500 units of energy for lunch? That's for you to figure out. If you are trying to lose weight & not having success, you should cut a bit of calories at each meal. Then ask yourself are you satisfied, are you energized, are you feeling full? Getting to know how foods & calories effect you is a good start. Maybe you can drop some extra toppings that are full of calories & not really helping you in any of the things just mentioned. There is so much more to learn than just calories in/ calories out, but it's a solid truth! If you take in more than you burn, you are going to gain weight & defiantly not lose it!
