We've had a lovely day in the garden today, making the most of the lovely unexpected sunshine. Meet Caramac, our bunny. Eleanor loves having him as a pet. She squeals every time she sees him and is always trying to get to his cage to poke her fingers through to pet him. He loves her just as much! He's so patient with her, letting her pet him and she's very good at being gentle (most of the time!) Today he kept hopping up to her so she could give him some fuss. ❤️ watching them together and seeing Eleanor learning how to interact with animals. #cute#babyandrabbit
I think a bit of pick your own is mandatory during the summer holidays 😊
Despite a chorus of moans when I insisted on walking to the rows of raspberries furthest from the entrance, we were rewarded with these beautiful, plump, red jewels 😍
Did you know that Brachiosaurus is one of the tallest animals to ever walk the planet? It is estimated to have been around 12m tall. It had tall shoulders, a long neck, small head, and muscular tail. Unusually, its arms (‘front legs’) were longer than its legs.

Watching the horses and donkeys at Erddig through the window. It's hard for littlies to reach and see sometimes so this little step at the window was a great addition for us. Little touches like this make us feel so welcome to explore. Thanks Erddig.

This little one is off! Today she has discovered that she can climb the stairs, pretty much on her own. But her favourite way to climb is holding our hands and walking up. Such big steps for such little legs! When did my baby become a toddler?! It happened so fast, almost overnight, and within a few weeks she's gone from crawling to walking with help, to climbing the stairs, to going down the slide on her own, to jumping on a trampoline. Everyone told us to make the most of her as a baby as it doesn't last long. They were right. We really did try to embrace life with a baby and not get too caught up in the stresses of - why won't she sleep? Why won't she let me put her down? Why won't she let me leave the room?!!! We still have those issues 😂 but now we have the benefit of perspective. One day, it will all change and I'll be so glad we just enjoyed each moment with her ❤️ #toddler#littlelegs
The toddler turns 2 in September...gulp. ⠀
Over the weekend I have started to think about what to do to celebrate. He's obviously very young and won't remember it, but it's always nice to have a little shin-dig, right?⠀
He loves planes, trains, tractors, diggers, being outside, nee-naws and Mummy likes to avoid softplay at all costs...! ⠀
Any ideas on a day trip? Doesn't have to be local. We did plan on digger land but he's too young to enjoy most of what they have to offer...

We had fun exploring Lancaster yesterday and found an amazing place to have a Sunday lunch. The food was incredible, and the portions HUGE for children's meals. Daddy said he should have ordered a child's one too
Have you seen the school art in our Face2Face exhibition? It's amazing! Here's a close up of the entry from Roselands Primary - we just love the way they have used mixed media to create this fab portrait of industrial pioneer Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
