“It’s time to be brave,” the universe keeps saying to me. So, I keep on doing reckless, skin-shedding things. I feel raw and insecure and terrified and then, when I am back in my comfort zone, that night or that week or that month, I look back to the moments of suppressed shivers. We all have anxiety in varying degrees. I once watched one of my most confident friends singing to a crowd of people. On the surface he was calm but then I looked down at his hand, hidden from the public, and he was shaking too! He just channeled his nervous energy to a specific point of his body which he strategically placed out of sight. I hope you do something that makes you shed your skin today, because in a while, you’ll generate a new skin and you’ll be more resilient and of more strength. So go ahead! Do it for the sake of growth. 🚀
You truly do. You think about if it will kill you this time. If it will be worse than the night before or the same as before. You worry about how to act normal outside of the house. You think of ways to change the person to see if that will stop it. You think it's your fault. You wonder what you did to deserve this.
It's a constant state of fear for your life.
LOVE is the opposite to fear .... when you look at life , people or situations with the eyes of love, you will understand that MOST people do things because they want to be loved , or feel LOVE . Love is the biggest driving force in the world . Most people have issues because they haven't felt loved in some stage in their life . They haven't felt accepted for who they are . People can actually turn nasty trying to receive love , I know it's crazy but some people don't know any other way . They don't have the awareness that you might have . Next time someone upsets you , ask yourself , what is THEIR TRUE INTENTION, was it to really hurt you ?? When you're scared , worried or anxious just remember to bring LOVE back into the situation and think of all the love you have in your life ! Love is the most POWERFUL things in the world , U SHOULD USE IT more often ! #lovequotes#love#loveothers#lovealways#loveislove#lovemyfamily#lovemyself#fear#fearnolongerliveshere#nomorefear#letgo#forgiveness#forgive#relationshipcoach#lovecoach#coach#teacher#transform#transformation#empowerment
Be grateful for the tipping points in your life. They are the moments when you get to decide if you're throwing in the towel, or if you're gonna dig your heels in a little deeper. They are the moments when you get to decide to recommit to the highest vision you have of yourself. When we lack appreciation for the experiences life lavishes upon us, we are forced to learn life's lessons in other kinds of ways. You've just got to let it be and know that "the best is yet to come." Commit yourself to the improvement of everything you are. Commit yourself to rejecting everything that you are not. Commit yourself to acting on the highest vision you've created for your life. If you do the hard part now, if you make the hard decisions now, the rest will handle itself. Believe that. "The best is yet to come." #GlobalShift 🌎💚
I’ve been at a couple of very inspiring events this week - one around ‘money mindset’ and the other dedicated to Womens Entrepreneur Day with Emily Gallagher and her tribe ...
and they got me thinking.
We all have a story.
And many go untold because either we have something we are ashamed of, maybe we don’t feel it’s interesting enough, we fear being compared or perhaps we fear being judged for whatever reason.
I want to share mine and how Evolve has well ... evolved!
Why? Because I want you to understand why I believe so much in what we do and how movement can change YOUR life!
So over the next few weeks I will share a wee bit about my own journey in hopes that you may find something that resonates with you.
I was a teen Mum. I couldn’t have asked for a more precious soul to guide through this world - she is an old soul and has taught me more than I ever thought was possible.
Being a teen Mum turned my world (and those around me) upside down even though as soon as I knew I was pregnant, I knew that I loved this precious soul more than anything in this world.
Now others in the same situation may have coped differently but I really struggled emotionally. I lost any self confidence I had (not that any teens have much at that age!) and certainly never felt ‘smart’ or ‘bright’ enough to pursue my first love which was to become a veterinarian. #regrets
And so at the age of 22 with my then 5 year old babe packed up and went to Canada.
I was running. At the time I was terrified of how I was going to make things work. I had no plans.
But it was there that I found my love for human movement and first became a group fitness instructor (which I taught for 16 years!)...and the journey to what I do today began then.
What hurdles, challenges and triumphs have you faced in YOUR journey that got you where you are today?
