Having just been told my form is close to perfect, the weight goes up and I fall back into bad habits. Concentration on form is not my strong point when I am taken over by my heavy obsession. I am very aware of my weaknesses and with only one session out of five allowing me to go heavy I chose to do it with my coach today. I don't trust myself... Last time I did this on my own I miscalculated the plates and ended up with 80kg on the the bar thinking it was 70kg.. I didn't stop of course ... and ended up with a cranky back for a few days... 75kgs here but physio this arvo to fix any damage 😂😂😂😂
For my birthday workout, CeCe had me do 5 sets of: 10 reps of jumping pull-ups, 25 pound ball slams, squats and the ski-erg. It totaled 50 of everything because: Birthday and age. Ildi said my post workout pic looked like Tammy Faye due to my mascara running. Daniella had to Google Tammy Faye, which confirmed we're old. Don't you just love the look on my face doing pull-ups? Workout pics are not flattering. 😂
I was thinking today about being the YES MAN for a while - say a month, or so. I mean, what's the worst that can happen? Think about the stupidest thing you've ever done. At least it's done. It's over. It's in the past. And let's face it, we can all learn from our mistakes and get over them and move on. On the other hand, it's harder to learn or move on from something that hasn't happened; something we don't know; something that is therefore indefinable; something that could very easily have been the best thing in our lives, if only we'd taken the plunge, if only we'd held our breath and stood up and done it, if only we'd said yes. But then you could look at it this way. No is power. No says, "I'm in charge." Just think about how many times you've said yes in the past year, and how many times you would have liked to have said no instead. Maybe being able to say no is the one thing that keeps us sane. Some people go through their whole lives saying yes over and over again. They say yes to things they don't want to do but feel an obligation to do; yes to things that allow other people to take advantage of them, just because that's the way things are, the way things have always been. Some people need to learn how to say no. Because every time they say yes, they say no to themselves.
It's a tough one - choosing to say yes or no. One simple word that can make a huge difference to our lives, and that can impact on the world around us. It's hard to know which to say for the best really. In fact, there's really only one thing to do, and that is, make the choice and then live with whatever happens once you decided, no matter how it turns out for you.
How many people watched that movie and thought 'I'm going to try that'? It would be interesting, wouldn't it? #yesman#yestoall#plantbasedfood#plantbaseddiet#plantbasedliving#plantbasednutrition#plantbased#whatveganseat#vegan#rawfood#rawveganfood#rawvegan#fitness#fitgirls#fitnessjourney#fitfam#fitmom#fitfood#fitnesslifestyle#fitguys#fitmoms#fitlife#fitbody#fitforlife#fitnessbody#veganfitness#vegan#veganathlete#veganmuscle#fiftyandfit#fiftyandfabulous
So I tried a new booty workout and didn’t have the bands so I got creative! sometimes you just gotta work with what you have😜No excuses here💪💪 I highly recommend this workout especially if you are sitting a good part of the day- those muscles atrophy when not used and can cause a lot of problems in the low back and hips over time! #workthatbooty
