After doing some legs yesterday I didn’t actually think I had worked that hard ... walking like I’ve shit myself all night says different I didn’t think I was until one of the girls at work asked if I was ok or had hurt my foot... no, no just did some squats and stuff 🤣😳
We had a bit of a walk out this morning as it was sunny and I’ve made a nice dinner for this evening so got a few bits done today so not to much of a boring day!
Just trying to fill my days now with friends and being busy or doing something now daddy is finishing even later each night it kinda sucks big time but we will make the most of the time we have eh!

You know what i ❤️ about being a part of these support and accountability groups? That even when you may not feel like getting it done or finishing because it feels difficult or challenging you realize you would not only be letting yourself down but also your tribe! I ema we are all in this together and that’s the best part. So even though we may be at different fitness levels or at varying points in our journey the bond you experience by doing it all together is like nothing else. Love my peeps!

This pregnancy has been very good to me (like my others have)! Yes there are the normal aches and pains...but overall, I feel amazing. The ugly side you rarely see...those awful spider🕷and varicose veins in my leg. I was hesitant to post this pic because of how bad they are...but I want to show you all just because I FEEL good, doesn’t mean everything ‘looks’ good 😉
These veins are genetic and very much out of my control! I hope the varicose veins will go away as they have after each pregnancy...but the spider veins may be permanent.
Am I self conscious about them...YES. But each day I remind myself that they are a constant reminder of the 3 beautiful babies that God gifted me to grow and have. Just remember that NO ONE is perfect, we all have flaws and that some just hide them better than others 🙌🏻

This year, my focus is on my health, fuelling my mind + body with nourishing foods and wisdom, listening to what my body needs everyday. Last year I found myself with migraine after migraine, putting my mind and body last and I paid for it! There is no business without your health, you can’t achieve your goals or even spend quality time with your kids without your health, all the money in the world doesn’t matter if you don’t have your health! But, I knew I had to change my relationship with food and heal my negative body image beliefs first before I could stick to a long term nourishing food + exercise plan that worked for me. So, if there is anything I encourage you to do this year, Its take the time to look after YOU! Start small and work your way up, grab a training friend, an accountability partner or even a mentor and make your health a priority. 6 months ago I ran the 10km Sydney Bridge Run in under 47min (first comp. run in more than 18 months due to an injury). I have been training super hard and hoping to complete the Manly Sun Run next month sub 44 min and hit a PB. I have massively increased the intensity of my HIIT training, which I’m hoping will help!! Anyway see how I go....
My little squish really does have hair it’s just so blonde 🤣 I hate that people keep saying she’s bald she really isn’t it’s quite long Just very thin and basically white 🙈
We have been attempting the whole sleep training thing as we have to rock her to sleep before putting her in her cot and we can’t do that when new bub is here so it started Saturday night...
It went fairly well took about 50 mins not much crying and went back in twice to reassure and quick cuddle, she slept so so good 2 only having to go in once in the night, Sunday night well 🙈 bloody nightmare I went in 3 times the third I had pooped downstairs and could hear her choking she had gone from 0-100 and got herself in such a state 🙁 a mummy cuddle Little Rock and back to bed and she went off in just over an hour in total! .
So night 3 and it’s daddy’s turn as I have to work, and be in for 13 hours tonight so he walks in I walk out he better keep to it or I think I may have a meltdown 😫
She did wake more last night going in 3 times so we shall see how this goes!
I got up as usual with daddy this morning at 5 and surprisingly I had a lot of energy I ran 6.2km and it seemed faster today and I did a little bit of legs doing some weighted lunges, and different variations of squats so my legs burn a little followed by a 10 min cooldown on my bike so not all bad and we’ve just snuggled the day away today missing daddy 🙁
Now it’s time to get this shift over with roll on 8am 🙄
My years of eating super fast between surgery cases are paying off!!!🤣 Today’s officially DAY 1 of OBSESSION🖤 & my first time following Timed Nutrition! ⏰🥑 I’ll admit, when I first saw the amount of food I would be eating, I not only FREAKED😳, but I thought NO WAY will it work with my clinic schedule. ..#nurselifestyle
It may be a challenge, but I’m up for it! I feel more prepared & organized than ever with this one, the motivation in my group is incredible, & I’m so ready to gain more lean beautiful muscle!!!💪🏼 .
Although this program’s more structured than I’m used to, it’s still NEVER about being perfect. Life will always throw curve balls & Test us, but we can choose to keep moving forward & doing our best! And a free trip to MEXICO 🇲🇽 for motivation right after doesn’t hurt either!!!!

Behind every good workout is a knowledgeable trainer. Working out during pregnancy can be rewarding and beneficial but make sure you're following solid advice. Focus on maintaining great form and listening to your body. Comparing yourself to others or working out beyond your personal capacity can be extremely counterproductive. Rule of thumb- if it doesn't feel good, stop! The no-pain, no-gain motto does not apply with baby on board.

If you’re wondering why I haven’t been posting much recently it’s because... well you see that little man over there in the picture, he’s been keeping me very busy lately, he makes sure mummy doesn’t have time for anything else but him🙂😝❤️
My “workout teacher” as she calls herself was tough on me today. She counted my reps, told me to keep going, and said you’re doing great, Mom! That last one got me.
It’s so amazing what our kids pick up on. I’m glad she was a part of my day 1 out of 80. I know it can be tough sometimes moms, but at the end of the day, YOU are the only one who can give your kids and happy, healthy Mom. I realized that early on in Savannah’s life- NO one was benefiting from me running myself ragged. It hasn’t been perfect, it’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
Well i made it through day 1....while a little challenging at times (and the pause button and i were one today) i was super excited to see how quickly the 60 minutes went...i was def a little worried about doing a longer workout than what I’m used to but it went by really really fast. I feel awesome for getting that workout done!

How do I feel?
✅ I feel accomplished
✅ I pushed as hard as I could.
✅I modified the hell out of some moves ( thank God I don’t have to feel self conscious as in a group setting)
✅ I sweat buckets
✅ I definitely know I’ll feel it tomorrow.
After meeting @autumncalabrese yesterday, I trust the process and will follow the timed nutrition to a T. This is me walking into her gym and her being my PT 80 days straight, no repeat workouts and timed nutrition and focus

Ladies I said New Year, New Gym Gear 💪🏽 And OH EM GEE I’ve found the most amazing high waisted tights from the gals at Clique Fitness 😱 On my quest to find the perfect tights for this Twin Mum Tum I had a few boxes that I needed ticked 😌 They were that everything had to be held firmly in place and not move when training, especially my tummy. Actually just not move at all when doing every day normal activities because ya know Mum life = Activewear 🙈 They had to be squat proof but still feel light and breathable and most of all they had to be comfortable but still look good! I am so excited to confirm that all boxes were ticked and I am in love! 😍 #cliquefitnessnz
During this #pregnancy I’ve been obsessed with mangos (one of my cravings). I easly have one mango a day…or even more ;). Luckily they are in season now and luckily they have many benefits! ;) They’re high in vit C and are great immune booster. Antioxidants like quercetin, isoquercitrin, astragalin, fisetin, gallic acid and methylgallat present in mango help protect the body against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers. Fresh mango is a rich source of potassium, which is an important component of cell and body fluids that helps to control heart rate and blood pressure. Mangos have a low glycemic index (41-60) so going a little overboard will not increase your sugar levels. They are rich in vit A and help in promoting good eye sight. Mangos are rich in glutamine acid– an important protein for concentration and memory. Mangos are great for pregnant (and menopausal) women as are rich in iron. So hey my body chose to crave awesome fruit! ;) But it also craved beer in the first trimester! 😜
