My erratic schedule has made it difficult to consistently join group workouts and it'll only get worse in the next few months. So, I'm taking the plunge into working out on my own at home or in hotels as a standard practice. I've learned enough in the past year and have become disciplined enough to make this approach work for me (but I already miss my workout buddies). Here's the start of my basement home gym. Don't need much but I do have a floor (which is probably all one really needs), bike, mats, kettlebell, dumbbells, balls, bands, Tabata app, Bluetooth earphones, and workout playlists. The couch might have to go but I might collapse onto it after an intense slam ball session. 😀
